yea political tensions between ukraine and russia have been too high for that to be a good idea for as long as the USSR has been dead. If ukraine as a nation is going to be in WT it would have to be as a subtree in a new Poland tree or put in a tree it doesn’t belong in like France or Britain to avoid contraversies

This is never a reason to not be adding vehicles. Shouldn’t matter if the addition of aircraft lock half the tree for you. Call it personal sacrifice for the betterment for the whole tree.

Nitpick->Replacements for the R2Y’s-> just the F-84G.
The others do not count cause their 8.7 not 8.0. Gonna guess this will change in the future and hopefully, those 3 will return similarly to the mouse as I know that’s what Gaijin has been recently doing.
Unless something changed, the R2Y2s aren’t being removed this update, but I suspect they will be removed fairly soon.
I also hope the V1 stays since it’s the most realistic iirc.

Hopefully. It was the closest to be possibly conceived and all of the documentation shows us what the design would have looked like. Unsure about the guns but considering Japan was struggling I wouldn’t be surprised if they started to work with 30mm’s seeing their 20’s not being effective enough against bombers of the time.
Naval is a whole different story, some nations simply can’t have new contents to fill the gaps without using the unfinished ships, the Italians for example has three unfinished ships (that I could remember), with the newest being Francesco Caracciolo. Without it, the only battleships that Italy could get are the Roma class
There are few ships which are pretty close to dreadnoughts though, like Regina Elena, Regina Margherita, Pisa and San Giorgio classes. I hope we will get them some day.
Also so far Italian projects don’t perform that good from my experience, Etna is absolutely out of meta, Comandante is a subpar destroyer. Would be much better if modellers spent their time on something more fitting to the game, like postwar Italian destroyers. Haven’t touched Caracciolo yet, but from what I’ve heard it isn’t something good, because of only SAP shells. Still Caracciolo is probably the only project in the Italian TT which was worth to add.
Which is funny enough even more controversial.
with the flak gotten because America mains wont be top dog for an update it would cause hell, just a more manageable hell

Could they add a tech tree for slavic nations without too much controversy?

All thats left is buying top tier premium.
I find the complaints of copypaste mostly unwarranted considering that the bulk of Thailand’s Air Force are vehicles already in the game. I do want stuff like the Alpha Jet Phase 2, but this is still a nice addition.

Overall, my main complaints are with the direct copy and paste planes, like the F-84G, F-5A, and the first Alpha jet. None of those offer anything new, unlike the Alpha Jet TH or F-5T. As for the top tier additions, I don’t have an opinion on them. I don’t have anything against the aircraft, and with mixed MM at top tier it doesn’t matter a ton.
I personally dislike the F-84G, Av-8, and F-5A, and I’m not too happy about there being even more aircraft that I wish I never had to face.

Can you explain why f2 is too modern but EF isn’t? Isn’t the EF we’re getting, much newer? I think I read someone saying this is the block 15 EF. Which came around 2010. And the f2 is from 2000.
Eveything I read online says the EF beats it in just about every category. So how in the world is it not in the chock for near future release? This makes no sense to me.
I’m not source of knowledge on this stuff but my Google-fu tells me we already have more advanced fighters in game(soon to be anyways). So I can’t see why it wouldn’t be added.

They had plenty of support for the Nazis, and provided immense logistic and material support to the Germans. Not to mention a bit of manpower.
