National Airborne Day takes place in the United States on August 16th, marking the anniversary of the first parachute jump in 1940. American paratroopers made a tremendous contribution to the success of key operations during the Second World War. Since then, airborne operations have been carried out in conflicts in Korea, Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

About this helicopter
- The UH-1C is a versatile, maneuverable helicopter equipped with night-vision capabilities. The UH-1C XM-30 variant derives its name from its XM140 30 mm cannons. However, pilots can also opt for alternative external armament, such as M134 7.62 mm machine guns, BGM-71C Improved TOW ATGMs, or FFAR Mighty Mouse rockets.
Open the “US Airborne Day” trophy!
When: From August 14th (13:00 GMT) until August 17th (13:00 GMT).
Task: Earn 3,000 mission points in battles where you used US aircraft at rank III or higher to receive the “US Airborne Day” trophy!
Inside this trophy, you’ll receive one of four decals:
 “Parachutist Badge (USA)” decal

 “Emblem of the XVIII Airborne Corps” decal
|
 “Paratrooper” decal
|
 “Emblem of Easy Company, 506th Parachute Regiment” decal

The “Paratrooper” decal can be found in the “Holidays” customization section. The other decals are located in the “USA → Aviation” section.
If you already have all three decals, you’ll receive a trophy containing one of the following items:
- 20-50% Research Point booster for 3-10 battles
- 20-50% Silver Lion booster for 3-10 battles
- 3-5 universal backups
- 1 day of Premium account
Please note: After finishing the task, you need to collect the reward manually.

- You can complete the task in random battles, except for [Assault] mode.
- Track your progress in the hangar by clicking Nickname → Achievements → Holidays → US Airborne Day.
