The first mass-produced jet fighter built in Italy, the G.91, made its maiden flight on August 9th 1956. It became a symbol of the resurgence of Italian military aviation following the Second World War. In addition to the Italian Air Force, the G.91 served with the West German Luftwaffe and the Portuguese Air Force. It remained in service for a full 34 years from 1961 to 1995!

About this aircraft
The G.91 R/4 is a highly maneuverable fighter capable not only of achieving spectacular victories in dogfights but also of providing ground support for allies using rockets, air-to-ground missiles, bombs, and incendiary tanks. Unlike the R/3 variant, the R/4 features a lighter forward-firing armament, consisting of four machine guns, and gains access to AA-20 Nord and AIM-9B Sidewinder air-to-air missiles.
I honestly think they should’ve kept the format for the 10th anniversary event (or at least someway for console players being able to obtain these vehicles without a gamble).
Agreed. Tbh I lost all motivation to do events after the slogs that were the R400, 2026 Winter grind and the T-72B3 Arena. Always a shame to see cool vehicles be added as fomo fuel (T-34 Partisan was imo the best event vehicle choice).
