I mean that’s just what happened. It’s pretty explicit once you look into the committee in charge of deciding if/where to drop the bombs.
Russians.
Yes, I know this version of alternate history that is very much believed in one country.
Yeah the debate is however how much weight it had in the final decision. Was it a side benefit for a deemed necessary bombing or was it the reason it was decided apon considering there was belief Japan was close to surrender.
Fact dont care about your feelings and you r hatred towards Russia, I dont like Russia also but Im real
Okay xdd
Seems quite interesting, thanks!
It is a great video. Very detailed. They did release a censored version too I believe if you’d prefer that.
See that Japan only “unconditionally surrendered” after the US gave them the condition that the emperor wouldn’t be charged for war crimes (and the committee had known that such a condition was all that was needed to get a surrender), I’d say it’s pretty clear that the bombs weren’t that much of a factor.
Imo, this video goes into it a bit better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCRTgtpC-Go
the fact that you are arguing should USA drop a NUKE on civil population is just crazy.
Yeah for Japan to surrender it seems time would have had the same result.
The debate I was referring to was regarding the Americans and them deciding if they should drop or not and what was the deciding factor.
You’ve misinterpreted the conversation. Neither of us are commenting an opinion on the dropping of the bomb. Merely discussing the politics that were involved and not widely known or discussed.
Even worse, you should judge it and say theres never a reason to do that…but Im sure you will find some excuse for “Good America”…
I’m not American… Your definitely not understanding the conversation.
Yeah the US should’ve wasted their time on a brutal invasion of the mainland or just let Japan get everything they demanded, easy
An invasion of the mainland would not have been pretty
Maybe you still believe the US attacked Japan for no reason?
As one of the players living in Japan, it seems I need to get Anniversary of the defeat decal lmfao
Oh Perl Harbor was civilian? my bad didnt know that
