A-5C Buff request

This is my first time here but ive played the game for almost 5 years at this point.

When the A-5C came out it was really good, and it is one of the best planes i have in my service record. But now its lost its edge and it needs a buff.

The A-5C has the airframe like Mig-19, which is at 9.3. it gets no radar, only 2 IR missiles max, and doesnt get a radar. and sits at 10.7. For comparison, the F-4C sits at 10.0 and is:
Faster
Has a radar
Can carry radar missiles and 2x the amount of IR missiles as the A-5C
Better payload and sits at a lower Br then the A-5C

to add, the A-5C only gets 18 countermeasures, which at 10.7, simply isnt enough, you often end up using all your flares and chaff in one engagement and when you need it most you have no way to defend yourself. The J-7D is a much better plane for 10.7 and actually performs well, having the A-5C at the same Br as the J7D just makes the A-5C look even more terrible in comparison.

When i first got this plane years ago it was truly amazing. But now it is a struggle to play, everything at 10.7 has better missiles, more countermeasures, is faster, has better radar, and quite frankly is better then the A-5C in every way.

If any dev sees this or however this place works, i think a 10.0 Br is fair, maybe 10.3 at the most but nothing more. (Edit): OR increase its payload capacity to something similar to the Q-5L. (End of Edit) . It needs a buff. Thank you.

Edit: I forgot to mention. As a strike aircraft it cant even destroy one base on its own because its payload is too small

Because it has countermeasures, x2 magic 1s, it is faster than a normal MiG-19.

So yeah it is definitely worth being at that BR

IMO it’s too good for 10.3 because of the decent flight performance, yet too weak for 10.7 because of it’s slower speed and low CM count.

It can’t be 10.0 as that’s where the (albeit overtiered) Q-5s are, which lack missiles entirely.

The A-5C is an attacker, and still very effective at its BR in that role.
The only difference is that now you actually play it in that role rather than abusing it’s air spawn to farm flare less planes with the magic 2s.

The J-7D is under BRed, I played it for ages with my friend in the “Lazur-M” that is at 11.0 and did perfectly fine in it at 11.0.

in ground RB i think its fine. this is mainly in Air RB where i think it needs a buff. But i didnt know that about the J7D so thank you.

im not saying it should be at the same BR as the Mig-19, its obviously better. But im saying at 10.7 its weak because its essentially weak considering its a modernised Mig-19 yet its still weak

would like to see it at like 10.3, since there is like no point in playing it. if it plays like the q5(I asume it) you dont want to fly this plane at 10.7 when you also can fly the j7d…

i dont own the J7D, and thats not the point. the point is i think the A-5C is too high of a BR since its Q5-L but with less payload (It does get missiles which is better but i think 10.3 would be better
