Need this in-game. Not sure where it would go BR-wise. I’d imagine 9.0? Or is this going to be a surprise monster like the Strela-10 was before it boosted in BR? If that’s the case, 9.7 lol.

All in for this. Many other nations used or still use this system, meaning it could be added for the Italian tree as well, most likely as the Romanian domestically produced CA-95.
Sounds like a 9.7 material to me at best tho. It is an IR missile, offering photo-contrast mode only (good luck at night), has only a very limited range, the first version only having 4,2 km. Saw a video of the missile being fired, it seems to burn the fuel for 8 seconds and - to my surprise - pull quite well.

that would make it far much better than 9.3 spaa’s, it think strela should be 10.7 or 11.3 because of how good it is
The other AAs are useless and overtiered. The Strela is fine.
200+ voters and a year old, and still not passed to devs, I guess it’s not because it’s been considered ‘redundant’ because the Strela on the MT-LB exists and is the exact same thing?
It’s not, the missiles are different and less effective. Slower, shorter ranged and with a less effective photocontrast-only seeker. That last bit is quite important as it means the missile can only be used against clear skies at least 2 degrees above the horizon.

I know what the photo-contrast does, I guess I missed the worse stats part.
The new multi-vehicle SAM system would make this much more worth it
