Do most of you really just play top tier aircraft? The last time I had top tier was the F-15C, since then I’ve really only done props to 9.3 jets, and the occasional stint in the F-14 IRIAF (which is even more garbage now after the missile changes).

And believe it or not, when you enter these threads, you’ll find people arguing about tanks, helicopters, and missiles for some mysterious reason LOL.
But why would that be a problem? Let them argue/talk about how difficult it is to climb to 8 km toward the edge of the map just to launch 14 R-77 or AIM-120D/C.

I love the many modern munitions and how you now can use it in nuclear escalation.

And the F-15C Golden Eagle can only Data Link 8 of them at a time 😭
The F/A-18E can carry 12x AIM-120’s and Data Link all 12 of them at the same time, but it climbs like a brick 🧱
And then the F-16CM PoBIT can Data Link 12 missiles, but can only carry 6 ARH missiles!!! It’s just not fair! 😂

I live in 2026 and ofc top tire is more interesting then WW1 or WW2… especially ground, I would pay to be able to grind from top tire towards down…

I dont find early cold war jets fun for the most part, and i dislike WW2 since it often feels to me like whether you live or die depends mostly on who has the superior plane and whether you can leverage whatever small advantages your plane has against your opponent.
Like im not gonna pretend there isnt massive compression going on at top tier (12.3-13.3 mostly), but it still feels like i have more options there. Even if im sitting in a SARH only plane against an ARH plane, theres usually still something i can do to play around that disadvantage.
At WW2 BRs i see it mostly as
“Guess corsair variant”
“Uhhhhhhh, early one?”
“Wrong :( garage :(”
So im not surprised forums get to be focused on top tier jets.

Problem is that the top tier is product of the fantasy of the developers.
Hey to me personally that doesnt matter I just wanna play newst tanks and anti air, maybe more anti air… like if we could play ground in NE, I would never probabbly touch air again.

Eh, i dont mind a lot if people talking about top tier. My issue is when a nation has a weak top tier so someone makes a topic that basically goes “X nation has no good tanks”.
At least mention you are talking about top tier. Just because you think the US abrams are weak doesnt mean the entire US ground tech tree sucks.

I suppose higher speeds, better and much more effective weapons, higher overall efficiency, nice looking…
WT online increased with addition modern aircraft. We will see further increase on addition of Su-57/J-35/F-22 jets.
Additionally, top tier jets are much suitable for playing in SB mode rather than old planes. There is still unused potential of that.
At this point there’s nothing appealing about playing props.

anyways the actual problem comes from the sheer quantity of features and details at top tier compared to low tier and that Gaijin can’t always get everything right first try — it’s giving them reasons to complain on a golden platter
I could tell you are inexperienced in top tier gameplay just from your post, and it turns out my assumption was correct looking at your profile. You have almost no games played in air RB rank 8-9 aircraft (7 total matches between 2 jets). Sure you have a few hundreds games in top tier arcade but if we are all being honest here that is meaningless when it comes to top tier gameplay and mechanics discussion.
The way aircraft, missiles and radar operate in air arcade are very different from the way they operate in air RB, which is what 99% of the discussion on the forums are about.

I mean, yeah… it was clearly sarcastic that you were suggesting top tier is easy. Nothing in your post suggests the opposite, that you actually mean top tier is difficult and requires some level of skill or game knowledge to play properly.
its where the money is and where all the advertising goes. so theres always gonna be newer players shouting into the void
A lot of the long time players dont spend their time there. most stick to the middle ranks where the vehicles are actually fun
It’s also the most changing aspect of the game
Unlike lower tiers which get like, one new vehicle every sometimes
