In 2016, a Type 87 SPAAG received a special decal for Azalea Festival, celebrating the anniversary of Shimoshizu Garrison, Chiba. This decal was placed on the vehicle with the serial number 96-5264, turret number 21, in use with the Anti Aircraft Artillery Training Unit stationed there.
The decal itself shows a character based on the same vehicle along with the text “87AWSP HANA”.
Personally I believe this decal would be an ideal choice as part of our monthly decal challenges. This way we can get an interesting Ground Self Defense Forces decal implemented in a way that is accessible for players that want it, and might return in the future as many monthly decals are brought back eventually, giving access to players that might have missed it previously.
