he thinks this is a fixed plate radar

isn’t that a deritative of klj-7? Thought the j-10c used klj-10a or something

idk

but thats what gaijin modeled in the X-Ray

i mean if gaijin modeled it as a gimbaling aesa it shoiuld be much mroe than ±85 lol.
Though no sources so it probably wont be changed

depends on the angle it is mounted at

if it is mounted at a 15° angle and then rotating, the 85° limit makes sense

Gaijin is incredibly stupid; they actually think this is fixed?

no they dont think that
that is why the J-10C has more than 70° gimbal

That’s an unrealistic buff.

get your translator working properly

first you are complaining that gaijin is thinking that the radar is a fixed one

and yet it has a higher gimbal limit than fixed AESAs

that looks like a fixed plate radar. is that the j10c’s radar ?

it is.

lmao instead of adding the better engines they want to add a fake radar. i dont even know what gaijin is thinking.

watch them, they will add better engine too

would comical if they make every ESA radar ±85* in wt cus of this 1 change.

again the x-ray model is not of an fixed plate AESA

then x-ray is wrong. lol

It should just be nerfed. Its not impossible for AESAs scan past 60 degrees, but tbe performance degradation is immense. You’d be lucky to get a lock a few kilometers away.

my guess is that gaijin just gave it something similar to this:
(which is a gimbaled AESA)

and is calling it a day now

GAIJIN got many facts wrong, but they used the excuse that “news report/photos cannot be used as evidence” to close many issues that attempted to point out their mistakes.

Good
