I am getting the above error today, still can login on the site. I did all the thing mentioned on the support site but no change. Are the servers down or is it me?

Ah I see now actually that it might be a steam issue, I am also logged off on steam and I see a lot of reports coming in. Probably will get fixed soon.
Steam in general seems to be dying, so it’s probably related.
