On April 12th 1961, 65 years ago, one of the most important events in human history took place: Yuri Gagarin made the first human space flight! The anniversary of this achievement is celebrated to this day, where on April 12th, scientists, engineers, and cosmonauts are honored. Happy holiday!

Get the “ Vostok 1 ” decal and “ Lunokhod 1 ” decoration !

When: From April 10th (11:00 GMT) until April 13th (11:00 GMT).




“Vostok 1” decal

Task: Earn 3,000 mission points in battles where you used USSR aircraft at rank III or higher to receive the “Vostok 1” decal!

“Lunokhod 1” decoration

Task: Earn 10,000 mission points in battles where you used USSR vehicles at rank III or higher to receive the “Lunokhod 1” ship decoration!

Please note: After finishing the task, you need to collect the reward manually.

Additional details:

  • You can complete the task in random battles, except for [Assault] mode.
  • Track your progress in the hangar by clicking Nickname → Achievements → Holidays → Cosmonautics Day.
  • You can find the decal in the “Holidays” tab in the customization menu.

Sure, but the same applies to other anniversaries—so why are only these included? Victory Day is celebrated across many Slavic countries, so why is only one nation’s tech tree represented? 🙂

Are these tech trees present in the game?

If we follow that logic, they could still be placed under the Russian tech tree, but then countries like Iran, Egypt, the Czech Republic, and others should be added as well. But anyway lets wait for BM-30 as victory event vehicle.

Today is 10/4. The Gagarin Anniversary is 12/4. Please read the post
