600kmp is the true air speed (TAS).
The aircraft can only show the indicated airspeed based on the airflow (IAS).
In general the true airspeed isn’t really all that useful, since the handling characteristics of a plane depend more on IAS.
You can select IAS in the option menu and even have IAS and TAS be shown at the same time.
