1. That book is not a primary source on events that took place as it was written by people who were never there and had no actual involvement in the events that have been discussed previously.

According to international law international waters are typically 12 miles off the coast of any nation, and it was 10 miles before the UN was forced to change it because of the Rose Island incident (there’s a really good movie on that event check it out sometime), And just cause I’m American doesn’t change that, maybe do some research before you make assumptions.
