I remember an old photo of HQ-17 with display board, and says it has 15km range. can you find it? to prove the 1020m/s for the 15km missile.

You’re all acting as if you’re required to grind it. Thermals aren’t even that important for a top-tier SPAA, at least be happy you have not one but two semi-usable SPAA for top tier unlike half of the nations in the game.

All I can imagine is Gaijin wants players to waste more time. It is disgusting that as a whole new 500kRP missile carrier with tiny changes, it is not an MBT that you could use in the ground battle. And even MBTs like STRV122 and Type 90 have folded

I agree to use hq17 as a modified part of tor1 or replace it directly.
I don’t think Torm1 should have been included in the Chinese technology tree from the beginning. China does not lack SPAA in the real world, on the contrary, it has a series of unique and extensively equipped SPAA (625E, FK1000, PGZ88, HQ-7, Yitian), while China has actually only purchased 30 sets of TORM1.
Instead of rudely stuffing TORM1 and HQ17 into the Chinese technology tree, it’s better to put TORM1 back into the Soviet/Russian Federation technology tree and leave HQ17 in the Chinese technology tree

The missile speed of the HQ17 should be above Mach 3. If a missile can intercept something 1020m/s, it means that the missile is at least faster than this thing. Unfortunately, our clever report managers don’t understand this obvious fact.

The display board in Serbia reads “capable of striking targets with a speed of 1020 m/s, either close or far away”. This means that the minimum speed of the HQ17 will not be lower than 1020m/s, which is obvious.
