Hi everyone,
I would like to suggest a much-needed Quality of Life (QoL) improvement for the Custom Loadout system in aviation. Currently, managing custom loadouts can become incredibly tedious, especially after major game updates.
The Problem:
Whenever developers rework an aircraft’s armament or change its loadout parameters (as recently happened with the F-16CM, Su-17, and Su-22 series), some weapons are removed or altered. This often leads to a situation where half of your custom loadouts become invalid or partially deleted, leaving behind broken presets.
Right now, if you have 15–20 custom loadouts, you have to click on each individual preset and delete them one by one. This is a massive waste of time and an frustrating user experience.
The Solution:
I propose adding two simple but effective features to the Custom Loadout creation menu:
- Multi-Select Feature: Allow players to select multiple custom loadouts at once (using checkboxes or a Shift/Ctrl-click mechanic) to delete them in bulk.
- “Delete All” Button: A single button to completely wipe all custom loadouts for the selected aircraft, allowing for a clean slate.
Why this is needed:
This change does not affect game balance but significantly improves UI usability. It will save players a lot of unnecessary clicking, especially after major updates that break historical or technical weapon configurations.
