Yeah…Except that only 3,7 cm Flaks from Ostwinds are effective at medium ranges.
Doubt, it will be pretty much the same Milkguntruck like the Russian 2.3 AA.
Well yeah I was saying that while I’m aware it won’t be 2.0, I do hope it’s lower than the Bergepanzer with the tradeoff being a lack of proper AT ability. The Russian 25mm milk truck at 2.3 doesn’t really have to worry about this because the AP shells it gets are only have around 57mm of penetration.
This vehicle will probably be lower than the Ostwind, and potential even lower than the Sd.Kfz.251/21, depending on how much damage the 30mm will do.
Its OP against tanks, since even the default rounds have AP in it. Approx. 35mm pen I think, with HVAP like 60mm Pen. It also depends if the ammo is in clips (reload) or manually loaded the moment they fire (like the Ostwind, no reload.)
Hence why I’d prefer to see the HVAP reserved for the Bergepanzer, so that the Steyr will be much more anti-air focused.
I mean if we had HVAP for this Steyr (if they had), then it would do nicely 4.0 since the sides of most tanks can be penned.
Sure, my point being that it would be less effective in anti-aircraft duties at 4.0, and I’m honestly interested in having a single Mk 103 mount SPAA as we already have a double and quadruple mount.
Yeah… I guess it would be effective at a lower BR, since Kugelblitz and Zestorer 45 have bad anti-tank capabilites because of them facing heavy tanks.
