2S38 is such a non issue.
Im currently grinding France with the 9.7 premiums/squadron vehicle and they are just free xp pinatas because they die instantly.
Hstvl is a way better vehicle and it can also engage helis for a while now.

And also remove a lot of it’s mobility since HSTV-L is one of the most mobile tanks in the entire game.

Sorry to ping you about this a year later, don’t know how I missed this.
T-80U under Sweden would be valid if something of the following had happened:
- Sweden outright bought the vehicle
- Sweden got the vehicle donated to them for free
- Sweden signed a lease deal with the seller
As it stands, trialed vehicles have less grounds to be added to the game than captured ones, as trialing is just that, a trial. I can test drive a new car for an hour, but does it mean that car should be connected to me in any way if I don’t sign any kind of a contract buying/leasing it ?
As such, T-80U for Sweden is similar to F-16AJ, so both should be removed from the game.

Heres 2s38 depression visualized. I can not depress my gun any further, imagine this in the HSTVL lmao.
And here is a video showing this, its unimaginably dogwater sometimes, people that don’t play this stuff never realize. I sat there in disbelief for a second, thought he died and then killed him after having to pull forward.
And from the same match is “OP 10.3 Russia on display”, here’s what happens when you take a shot from out of cover when you have Russian reverse gears. I promise you I would have made it back behind that rock in any HATO tank near this BR.

I know it was a bad spot, that why I was hesistant to begin with, I knew I was about to eat it any moment from someone over on the right, but that cv was being a paid actor for some reason, I also expected there to be more than just him over there. Problem is with 5 degrees of gun depression the amount of “good positions” on a map are extremely limited vs 9/10 or 17 in the case of the hstvl. And im not so good at the game that I know every spot that is applicable to 5 degrees of gun depression on every map but im trying to find them. My plan on that spot was to use the rocks for cover, but I can’t sit behind them with russian depression and safely fire, I have to move out in the open to engage anyone there.
Could you tell me where on that side of the map I should be playing a tank with 5 degrees of gun depression? Because I only know the spots that work on my german tanks that have double of what russian tanks have, that 4-5 degrees makes a massive difference.
My point with the video is that most people dont even factor in gun depression for how strong a tank is, and it does matter A LOT.
i main china i know about good posistions on that map you can sit on the dunes on top spawn and snipe when they are going left also you dont have to use your deppression to play hull down on some spots you can use your elevation which the 2s38 has alot of
HSTVL is easy to kill guys, also most US mains are bad. Therefore we should lower the HSTVL to 6.7

The OTOMATIC’s ammo box means nothing, when the 2s38 already has 148 darts inside and can fire them all without its cannon overheating.
2s38 is simply a cancer just shows that the developers are making war propaganda.
Russian players would look better if they simply admitted obvious bias within the game, instead of actively defending the developers’ shitty ideas

It absolutely means something, you reload directly into the ammo storage.
It’s a good vehicle, but very overrated by everyone crying about it.
Who is defending what ?
The 2S38 really isn’t that oppressive anymore. The amount of them killing me vs me killing them is probably more than 10:1 - They’re free kills.
That’s why you perform within your account average with those bias vehicles lol.

This just shows you have skill issues, which is not a good thing in my opinion… It’s an extremely OP vehicle otherwise you can’t explain the huge amount of comments and posts from people who have raised the subject in various posts on this forum, even professional players like OddBawZ and Spookston have admitted that it should be at BR 11.0

Also with the ammo crate you have to stop and wait to refuel, which limits you a heap compared to 2s38 which can wander around the map. and trailing knowing that with 148 darts you will never run out of ammo… safely outflanking your opponents
2s38 is a vehicle that deserves BR 11.0 the fact that you defend it only shows how lacking you are in the game.
It’s obvious you do it on purpose, or you don’t know the game is created by Russian developers that’s why the Russian nation has obvious biases like having totally broken vehicles compared to other nations…
- 2s38 Russian ground vehicle should be at BR11.0 is still at 10.3.
- BI Russian aeroplane recognised by all as the most broken in the game, it should be at BR 8.0 instead it’s drumming at BR6.7, it’s literally the most broken vehicle in the game.
- And then there’s the Navy… I avoid talking SKR-7 there are a bunch of posts on this forum describing the problem, despite moderators deleting posts because it bothers them the truth
Having said that, I’m not going to answer anymore, it would just be a waste of time to catalogue the obvious problems this game has.
