You need BR decompression, moving specific vehicles isn’t a solution.

Gaijin has passed over the BR twice now the 2S38 has not been moved up.
It is an outlier with its piers.

Why do people keep making arguments founded on date of service entry?
Vehicles are not positioned based on this, if you want slightly more realistic match-ups that’s what sim is for.
Also did this many months old thread really require a necromancer when there are already multiple spammed 2S38 BR complain threads up and more recent?

If you can’t kill an MBT with the 2S38 that’s a big skill issue.
oh yeah i killed lot of MBTs with it (got 2 nukes too)
but looks like u cant kill a light tank
whilst I would generally agree, when without HE(or squash head) or in a tank with a 105 or smaller killing a 2s38 with just gun peeking is pretty hard, although disabling isn’t too hard

it is NOT good where it is, if you’ll compare it with strf 9040c, 2s38 wins almost in every aspect

Effectively the same pen due to Abrams and Type 90 weakspots, similar fire rate. The only real difference is 9040C is slower.

Considering everything got moved up 0.3 at that BR, it doesn’t really count.
Before it was 10.0 and should have been 10.3-11.0.
Now it’s 10.3 and should be 10.7-11.3
Still likely one of the most effective IFVs in game and I see them do extremely well still even in 12.0 lobbies.

Every light vehicle that wasn’t moved up by 0.3:
Desert Warrior, CV9030, Strf 9040B, M3A3, Begleitpanzer, etc all stayed the same BR.
2S38 is as effective as HSTVL for the BR they are.
2S38 should’ve never been anywhere close to 11.0, it’s not an HSTVL.
Also the fact that you want 2S38 to go up more is textbook movement of goalposts.
“Now that I got what I want, I’m going to move the goalposts to stay mad.”
Considering the desert warrior should never have been 10.0 to begin with (was several requests last BR change for it to go down in BR) . It’s now at the correct BR. Can’t comment on the others, but wouldn’t be surprised if the same is true for them.
Instead of moving them up and then back down again, they remained where they are.
Point remains…no reason for 2S38 to be as low as it is
Again 90% of 10.3 ground USSR is uptire… Until thats changed 2S38 shoudl stay where it is… Like I have feeling noone is actually playing that rank and just cry about it
2S38 isn’t low, it’s where it should be.
Now, whether or not Strf 9040C should stay at 10.3 is up for discussion.
Strf 9040B is 9.7, and 9040C still remains the closest vehicle in offensive capabilities to the 2S38, especially with the turret rings of Type 90 and Abrams. 9040C currently is largely just slower.
