152mm gun/launcher reload rates need to be buffed

If the purpose of reload rates is to balance vehicles, then the 152mm gun/launcher on the m551 sheridan and m60a2 should probably be lowered from 15 seconds to 10 seconds. You fire a low velocity round that can only shoot out chemical energy munitions against tanks that can fire more reliable kinetic ammuunition at high velocity

M551 is just abysmal, would still underperform at reserve tier. The M60A2 is ok, the long reload is workable since the heat shell is pretty potent, the shillegah atgm can also one shot tanks at the price of being pretty slow. I don’t think a reduced reload is really needed

the m60a2 would still be fine with a 15 sec reload, but it still wouldnt be op with a 10 sec reload. the shiellagh takes even longer and requires you remain out of cover longer than the heat rounds, the worst part though is due to the slow velocity of the missile and heat rounds, you cant engage moving targets, and due to low reload engaging nearby targets isnt much of an option too

its ace reload is 12 seconds. considering youre loading a wacking big 30kg ATGM into a gun inside a tiny turret thats quite quick.

Ik youre a new player so im not gonna be mean about this but you are very wrong.

The sheridan just plays so different to anything else you probably have played, id compare it to the FV102 striker with how awkward it can be at times. its fast and agile while being pretty small so its perfect for flank & spank playstyles and its ATGM is very potent, i cant think of a time ive survived a hit from it.

America is a very good ground tree so I recommend playing a couple other nations like low tier britain, france or italy for a while and you are going to be shocked how much worse some trees are. playing a couple other trees for even only a little while gave me a huge insight into how other players experience the game and helped me beat them just as much

Terrain is not even on maps (a good thing) but firing a low velocity shitgun at a target moving as their elevation relative to you changes is nigh impossible

Atgm is fine, talking about the he and heat round reloading speeds

I mean those shells alone are 22kg and thats not including propellant so it probably amounts to the same weight and similar reloading times in reality.

But again reloading is about balance and the obj 120 carries similarly weighted shells and reloads faster for high velocity high penning kinetic rounds mind you

I have a hunch and I think the kv-2 reload rate was buffed
