120S how shoulkd i play it?

i been struggling to play 120S since i kinda brawl player should i just skip this tank and move on to another abrams with same bR?

You could go with the M1 Abrams. It’s honestly one of the best Abramses. Sure you only get the 105mm with a generally subpar penetration. But the mobility it boasts is very good.

Now the 120S? Play it more like a sniper. You’ll need obviously to get ahold of the laser rangefinder. So until then brawling and close quarters is your only choice (unless of course you can guesstimate very far ranges easily and/or you got very good crew). But the sniper role fits the 120S very well. That’s mainly because of its M60 chassis that obviously will not be really saving you from any darts or chemical rounds. (Also mind the turret ring!)

120S is definitely a sniper tank at BR 10.3. Would I skip it? Yes, the M1A1 HC is no different than premium variants at BR 12 minus the Dozer blade no one uses. So, next sale just purchase those over grinding the branch. I would recommend getting Abrams and M10 Booker for BR 10.7 best combo for sure.

EDIT: If rushing is your plan you can ignore SPAA, you get free variants so it’s become useless grinding those out.

The 120s is good, it has 12.0 Abram’s FCS and thermals. For someone as blind as myself I would say it’s actually easier to do well in this thing than the 10.7 M1, you will just delete everything on sight, not to mention the turret is also more armored than the M1, when in position you are a better sniper than the M1IP or M1A1.

Only issue: Slowass

Only when moving forward, the turret turning speed and thermal vision is top tier material, it actually sees much better than some 12.7 mbts like leopard 2 variants which still using gen1 thermals. Not to mention it shoot top tier ammunition with 5 seconds reload, it’s feels pretty busted at times. It also brawl much better cqc as it isn’t using m774 or m900 as you will pen enemy at most angles, which reduce the time you have to aim for the weakspots when things t-80ud shows up.

easily my favourite abram in the game, S tier mobility, B+ tier armor, B tier gun, it’s just a great tank all around

I hate the 120S tho, its such an ass tank. u trade literally everything for a good gun and thats it, sure it has good turret armor but it’s not like it was needed nor will it save u in CQC battle. the m60 hull it has is so ass and slow and I hate playing it, takes like 5 minute to drive to where I wanna go and die anyway cuz hull has no armor
