I’m going to say this one more time. If you continue to ignore it, it’s on you. The BMPT has a FASTER REACTION SPEED than most MBTs due to its GOOD TURRET STATS and TINY WEAKSPOTS that OFTEN DO NO DAMAGE when shot. You as the 120mm user have to take MORE TIME TO AIM than the BMPT and he will almost ALWAYS have started blinding you before you can fire. Even if you DO fire, you often DONT disable it even with WELL PLACED SHOTS due to its BROKEN DAMAGE MODEL.
It is not just breaking barrels. The MAJORITY of my NATO MBTs are frontally penetrable somewhere and its not hard to find the holes when you’re spamming 30mm
Too bad its happened plenty of times.
He isn’t. That dart should have did damage. It “oranges” the ammo belt on the first shot. A fuel tank “explodes” but does no damage. The entire vehicle is RIGGED (read: intentionally rigged by gaijin to not take damage)
Position better. You have the mobility and soft factors that allow you to get into better positions. The turret rotation speed is 45 deg/s aced vs 40 deg/s aced on most MBTs, so not that much faster, but noticeable.
M1/Type 90-10/Leclerc are not the majority of NATO MBTs though. Albeit the M1 is quite popular. There’s more MBTs that can’t be penned by 30mm APDS than the ones that can.
Those are external grenade launcher ammo and fuel. They are outside (read: outside the tank seperated by armor and thus do not impact the vehicle’s function). There’s also the superstructure behind that grenade launcher ammo, so it will not penetrate the tank.
ERA is modelled very badly and could do with a rework for sure.
between A/B is a pointless spot that doesn’t cover A or B adequately while also being vulnerable to flanks on the side you aren’t currently staring at.
spot between B/C will absolutely get you railgunned by the people in f6/e7 area unless you just camp the southern wall which offers no real sightlines
Not really. A lot of people tend to push B and with a fast tank like M1 or 2A4 you can sit there before the slower Russian tanks (T-72s, T-90s, T-80UD) arrive, and shoot them in the side as they rush it.
If you have a fast tank like 2A4 or M1, you will be fine. I have been rammed in spawn and failed to get there a few times though, pmo.
Russian tanks or Challies can struggle to get here on time though. (Bar non UD T-80s).
So basically, not being spaded also invalidates all of these positions. I also don’t see how you’re getting into A/B spot even spaded without being shot. You have to drive straight through B to get to it or in the open on the A side.
