i am using the german f4f phantom how should i bomb should i go high altitude or stay close to the ground?
Stay low. If you waste time/energy trying to climb, you wont ever get a base as everyone else will beat you to them.
Also, climbing just makes you vulnerable to anyone with SARH and you can see some powerful SARH hunters in an uptier.
Stick low and fast, edge skirt slightly if necessary as charging straight down the middle of the map can result in deaths.
But it would be good to not neglect A2A combat as well, F4 is a decent aircraft at that BR.

stay low. less than 60m above the surface is optimal to reduce radar accuracy against you. base bombing makes you a slow target for fighters so its risky for not much reward anymore base bombing isnt giving good rewards anymore
