Now that seperate controls for chaff and flare will be implemented in the upcoming major update, the Tornado IDS should get its historical amount of over 1000 chaffs.

Look for proof and stuff like that and if when the update drops it doesn’t have it report it
They have stated that was a part of why split CMs are coming. So we can hope it’s coming soon. But no idea this update or later
It’s been reported since the dev server for the update it came in. So about 18 months iirc
Though I do have a dev thread. Which the Devs supposedly look at.

Those BOZ pods the IDS Tornados carry have a capacity for 28 flare + 520 chaff each IRL (total of 56 + 1040 as you said). I’m all in favor of more realistically depicting chaff/flare loads on dispensers across the board, but it will result in some nerfs like the F-104G’s dispensers totaling 15 flare + 30 chaff, or the F-5E’s 16 flare +32 chaff
