ZSL 92 reworks

Just played it today and it was tragic at 6.3/7 , only one good game where I uptiered it to 7.7 and it went fine, but I know it can do better if corrected in-game

The ZSL 92 was an IFV and thus should be reclassified to the light tank class, and scouting should also be added. Why is the BMP2 MD or Marders classed as light tanks but the ZSL as SPAA? I know there is a gap in the anti air sector for China, but SPAA should be reserved actual purpose built SPAAs like the WZ554 (WZ554)

After re-classing it as a light tank, the ZSL should receive its APDS/APFSDS belts, improving its anti tank abilities.

After all the mentioned changes, the vehicle could get uptiered to 7.3 as an analogue to the BTR-80.

It’s an SPAA that’s worse at its job than the preceding ZSD63/PG87 all the while being a way higher BR…it never even used AP ffs, it only had APDS and HE which it should have in-game.

its an another chinese vehicle which got completely shafted by gaijins bad research practices
i think they saw that the cannon fires 23mm ammunition and just went “ah whatever it probably shoots the same rounds that zu23 does”

Alternative option while keeping it an SPAAG.

Give it the Wiesel 1A4 route.

• It’s labelled a SPAAG

• Has the ammunition crate

• Has scouting

• Has APDS belts

I don’t get why many other machines don’t get such treatments which be absolute boons to their in game service life.

If it got the APDS & scouting the ZSL 92 could easily go up to 7.3 like Wiesel is.

I know, I have been playing the Wiesel after researching it these few days and it really is much more useful compared the the ZSL, and can actually impact teams by getting rid of BTR and light vehicle spammers in early game.
