Without LOAL? I mean you could just implement it with basic fnf. Would still be better than getting smaked every single match with no chance of doing a lot for your team

Why not just add them without the LOAL capability? i dont see the issue in that. Gaijin added the PARS a while back without the FNF capability and said it would come later down the line, which it did. Just add the cm502 without LOAL and add it later on down the line.? if 25km range is too much just artifically nerf it then lol. AKD10s are some of the worst heli atgms… only saving grace is when it actually hits the vehicle but the problem is getting to that point is suicide.

wow… so they add a new helicopter that is basically the same heli as before just with DIRCM…
- additional armor is worthless as it won’t prevent a 95Ya6, or a VT-1 from ripping off the tail
- increased ammo (of only 50 (!) additional rounds) is worthless since the aweful rate of fire won’t get you ever in the situation that you run out of ammo
- a different exhaust is worthless as IR missiles are rare at that BR and if you encounter one, the platform that launches it will aproach with mach +1, so the distance it can’t lock won’t matter anyways
- radars on helicopters are more of a liability than an advantage, they give away you general location, they don’t lock reliable on targets and the ground mode is useless as the battlefield is cluttered with wrecks at the point in the game where you would typically spawn in a heli making it just a distraction
- more engine power sounds nice and of course I can’t argue against that… but… man, if you got used to the Z-19… That thing moves, it’s insane.
the DIRCM is probably the only thing that makes this helicopter a consideration to take out. As those AKD-10s are so slow - especially when they new AA systems are added - you simply can’t stay out of cover long enough to wait for the missile to reach a target, unless the DIRCM can somewhat help with that.
So… that being said, there’s one question left: Why is the standard Z-10 not foldered with another heli? With the Z-10ME added the normal Z-10 is nothing but a 400.000RP and 1.080.000SL barrier as there’s literally no reason to take it over the ME. Especially since there’s no line-up at 11.7. And even if it gets lowered to 11.3 there’s the imo better Z-19 (the maneuverability of that thing is wild and more than makes up for the lack of a gun and the -4km of range compared to the AKD-10 - and I will die on this hill).

brimstone also got LOAL but it can be equept in game as a SAL missile.
then why shouldn’t we got a CM-502 without LOAL but only got IR seeker?

What’s the point of adding this new top-tier helicopter? The new F&F ATGM isn’t being provided, the Z-10ME’s radar still doesn’t work, the new DIRCM function designed to counter the Mi-28NM isn’t operational, and the 23mm autocannon’s rate of fire hasn’t been adjusted. Moreover, why are F&F missiles being given to helicopters from Italy, France, and Israel, while helicopters from all other nations are left without them? Does this count as “balance”?

helis are picese of sxxt in game now. and is the hardest to hone. this kind of Z-10ME flavoured helicopter not worth 400K vehicle plus 200k equipment at all.

Brimstone has a specific mode which is SAL only. This is what we have in game.

sure I mean Brimstone in real world got SAL+ARH+IOG+LOAL right? and GAIJIN choose to cut the ARH and LOAL off.

Because this was an actual mode Brimstone had (SAL). So it can be limited to an accurate form of operation without artificial changes to the missiles performance.

Could also just do TV or SAL seeker if they consider it too OP. 25km SAL wouldn’t even be problematic, plus it would likely be more like 10 or 12, sure still better than anything barring Vikhrs but that is the compensation for 8 and not 16/12. Also I doubt the SAPHE with 5kg will do enough so will be down to chances against anything barring SPAA.

Spike variants we have ingame have that ability IRL but not ingame, why can’t it just be added without LOAL, same for the Brimstone variants the devs rejected? Just give it F&F and without the LOAL mode the devs claim is too strong like they’ve done for the spikes.
Just doesn’t make any sense for me, this feels like an illogical decision from the developers. However, “for the time being” (although I understand it’s something you usually say, given things are subject to change as always), gives me a little bit of hope… not much but a little.

Seriously, you might as well change the weight of z10 to 12.0,And then add several functions of z10me to the modification in the form of accessories,I really don’t understand what is worth it for a radar that exposes its position and a pee gun with 50 more bullets, I play 42W research and development and pve a little bit to open the damn ty90 accessories at the fourth level,It’s really pointless to change skins like this.,The only reinforcement is only one infrared interference that is basically useless in the new version (so many OP air defense in the new version, I really don’t think this thing can play any role)

@Smin1080p_WT Sorry to interrupt, but what about the Fire Snake missiles? The JF-17 already excels with this missile in the game and this helicopter can use it according to several pieces of evidence.
