I have read the players’ reports. I think there is no problem with the data of CM-704 in the game. It won’t be as OP as Kh-38. In the game, it is probably the same as AGM-65G. However, the game developer team did not add these missiles to the game. Why is it happen? Are they deliberately targeting Chinese weapons?

yep… I was super excited for the Tiger because of comments like this… only to find out that out of 8 missiles you get 3 kills max in a “good” map without much cover.
PARS 3 are overrated, really.

Can the AIM-9X carried by the Sl amraam of the United States successfully enable enemy aircraft to break through within 6 kilometers? Even if it were given to the Chinese Typhoon fighter jet, it would probably be very difficult to evade this missile. If the next version of Chinese aircraft still needs to carry aviation bombs and Kh-29T, it is likely that they have been shot down before reaching 6 kilometers. I would like to use paveway IV bombs , using GPS mode to supersonic drop them 10km away on low altitude, when bombs are arriving, pull up to find if the aa systems are still there. If not laser guide then.
They are better than the Hellfire, I guess. Can take out other helis more reliably. Same goes for spaa. If there is an spaa in the AO, the 114 is useless.
I know that their damage is inconsistent, but i guess it’s better to get more hits than to get hit once you try and lase a target

The problem is just that China has the same type or equivalent of weapons as the Americans and Europeans but BUT… gaijin does not implement them so yes it gives an impression in game that China does not have many A-G weapons but it is wrong, China has better A-G ammunition than Russia to begin with

Wouldn’t they have datalink like AKD-10? in that case the seeker range doesn’t matter since it would re-lock in terminal guidance.
China doesn’t have equivalents to US Maverick or British Brimstone as they operate on different military doctrine. J-10A is a high value jet and is designed to fight potential adversaries like India, Japan, USA, Korea, ROC. All of which are nations with advanced anti-aircraft weapons. They cannot risk loosing a J-10 from low-speed low-altitude attacks like that of the USA in Iraq when they were fighting technologically inferior stuff. As such China’s weapons focus on long range stand-off attacks. That’s why it can only use large and long range missiles such as CM-802AKG and CM-400AKG. Both of which don’t make sense to have in War Thunder. For CAS, China would rather use their extensive inventory of UAVs, which unfortunately doesn’t work great in War Thunder.
Personally, I think CM-502 is not needed because it will already be a very strong helicopter with the DIRCM. The range and performance is much better than Spike and PARS 3, it would not be fair.

C704 might be added as well as IIR versions of LS6.

GB250 got the same modification as AASM. which means they can use IR/GPS/SAL seeker and having a rocket booster.and it can be load on J-10’s tripple pylon.
And C-700 series missiles are just kind of chinese maverick. And it always showing with JH-7,JF-17 and J-10.
For brimstone? I don’t think any robust airforce need something like that. none-IFF makes it useless against close melee. and when I need to do the air interdiction. why not use glide cluster to throw sensor-fused munition on enemy’s head?
Last, for SAMs. PLAAF and PLANAF also got sead teams loading YJ-91 sead missile to destory their radar and another jet loading guided bombs to destroy the launchers.It’s a total different missile comparing CAS. There’s no A or B choice.

I don’t know what part of my message made you think I’m prejudiced against China. I want AGMs to use in game, I was just explaining why the type of weapons China uses is different from western tech.
