we need more small boi jets in the game

Absolutely! Premium could probably work since the Yak-130M is in development, but imo putting both in 4th line under Su-25s makes by far the most sense
Imo we need more of these light combat-capable trainers, the Yak-130 but also the BAE Hawk, JL-9, JL-10, M-346 and others

Red tech tree does not need vehicle

looks like a copy of Alpha Jet from this angle, cute.

Italy’s M-346 is related and similar but a distinct vehicle from the Yak-130

However, some parts are similar so this should simplify modeling. Israel may also receive the M-346 and in case Yak-130 maybe China (Bangladesh).

??
So are you suggesting that Italy get the Yak but not the Master?

No. Thats not what I said. Some parts are similar so Gaijin should modelling both Yak-130 and M-346 in same time.

I think that’s a given, that the Yaks and M-346FA/FT should be in the same update. But that Italy should get its own M-346 and not the Russian Yak-130.

That goes without saying. Italy has never operated the Yak-130.

Yes. I was replying to a comment that said “+1 for Russia and Italy” by pointing out the Italian M-346 is its own vehicle distinct form the Yak-130, despite the common ancestor and comparable performance.

I don’t want to be wrong, the Israeli one is not armed.

Not armed? Oh… so then only for Italy.

It was seen carrying Aim-9M’s (or so I guess), as well as unguided rockets. It does have arming capability

Israel purchased (from 2014 to 2016) thirty standard M-346s for advanced training, the M-346 FA (Fighter Attack) version was presented by Leonardo in 2017, to date there are no records of any purchases by Israel of this version, nor of any modifications to the others already purchased.

I’m not talking about this specific one. I’m saying it can carry weapons

Ok, it only has two hardpoints, I understood what happened from the third photo, the first man from the right is Mauro Moretti the CEO of Leonardo at the time, IAF officials congratulate him, for the modifications made on the M-346.

I like it! Russia has a lack of decent CAS between the TU-2 at 5.7 and the SU-25 at 10.0, some A-4/ Alpha jet equivalents would be nice. The Tu-14/IL-28 and SU-7 are the only options in those BRs and they lack the agility and CMs to deal with the radar/ stinger SPAAs they face.
