Definitely would be worth adding the R-77 and R-73 to this aircraft.
EDIT: No way people are arguing that this aircraft shouldn’t get a certain armament it was planned and CAN use when the Iranian tomcat has missiles it couldn’t even fire and incompatible with, that being the R-27R.
The Iranian F-14A does not have weapons it couldn’t fire that would increase its BR.
R-27R is a sidegrade to Skyflash.

I have no idea what you’re on about, I don’t care if it got a br increase or not, I believe this would be a extremely fun and potent aircraft with R-73 and probably R-77.

It’d be the same BR as Mig-29SMT, a vastly superior aircraft in airframe performance.
Yes I’m 100% in favour of R-77s and R-73s though it would mean 13.3.
The Yak coupled with thrust vectoring and being able to flick it around when someone is trying to one or two circle you is amazing, with R-73 would make it better.
I suggest asking for these changes in the BR change thread, I just did so myself

my idea was to add r73s to the yak 41 while raising a bit its b.r. to make the gameply more diverse as the plane was inteded to arm the 73s and not the 60s.

In my opinion the yak 41 should get the possibility in game to mount more advanced armaments, only if warthunder adds a mechanic where brs are decided even by upgrade packs that you can unlock for your plane.
Example.
yak 41 mod. 1991 that adds the 77 and the 73 and raises its br to 13.3/13.0.
