I already know that’s what people will say. XM1302 will be leaked in the first set of leak lists. Then it will be leaked as a premium or event in the second set, after it’s been hyped up (just like the T58). Then people will complain (rightfully so) because another US high caliber light tank won’t be TT, but people will say “oh but you got Stingray”.

Are we getting this fully and only British design added to our tree?
The XM1302 is developed by BAE’s US subsidiary “BAE systems Inc.” While BAE is British headquartered, it’s US operations are legally and operationally distinct.
Furthermore, most of the XM1302’s design was inherited from the M8 AGS and obtained by BAE’s US division through the acquisition of “United Defense Industries” who in turn had obtained it from the original designer FMC. OP said as much in the suggestion post, if you read it.
So the XM1302 is for all intents and purposes a US vehicle

Talking more than 10.0, VFM5 is equal to the Stingray
And it’s in the tech tree. For whatever reason, the US can’t get anything related to the XM8 program in the tech tree (I know VFM 5 has no relation to XM8, buts its extremely similar to CCVL and we couldn’t even get that in the tech tree). I guess we got the Stingray now, but it only took them a couple years, and it still isn’t even XM8 related. We still got a couple more variants left, here’s to hoping.
Well, that’s up to the Commonwealth subtree
