Xbox client needs update "but we can't get this at the moment"

Error shows, even after restarting the xbox, when opening War Thunder that it needs an update but “we can’t get this at the moment” with “we” being microsoft or something.
Little bummed out because I have a small window to play the event, only need 4k MP to get the next star and very little time in my busy schedule to play.

Anyone else have this or is it just me?

If you haven’t tried it already then try restarting the router as well (Slim chance of it fixing it but might be worth a try at least).

Kinda seems like the client needs to connect to a minimum version that doesn’t exist on Xbox. Briefly I see the main WT screen before login and then boots me out.

I uninstalled and reinstalled it once, but the problem still persisted and wasn’t resolved. I visited the Gaijin Pass app and found that there was a version update today. I believe it’s because they forgot to upload the latest version. Now we can only wait.

Alright good work trying those things!
@Necronomica did you get all that? do you have a direct line with the dev’s it seems like the entire xbox player base is locked out of the game. Quite a serious issue.

I sadly do not, at all. I’m at the same level as any other player when it comes to development.

I can however ask the Technical Moderators (or perhaps the Community Managers) about the issue and see if it is known about already.

please do, like I said, this looks like the entire xbox player base is locked out. Quite an urgent thing I’d say and one they might miss because setting up devops monitoring for a store they don’t own might be quite difficult.

Still doesn’t work.

Issue does indeed still persist. Tested on multiple consoles, all seem to have the same issue. I second the theory of all of Xbox being locked out.
