X56 HOTAS error

Hello,

I’m having a problem with my X56 HOTAS, specifically with the throttle control. It behaves very strangely: the “0” position corresponds to 50% throttle, and when pushed to the maximum, it drops back to zero. If I try to fix this issue using in-game settings, the game crashes upon restart and only launches after unplugging the joystick.

Previously, everything worked fine. I’ve already reinstalled the drivers and the game itself. The throttle functions correctly in other games.

I’ve attached photos and a video for reference. Any idea where the problem might lie—hardware or software?

i also use an x56, and im having ghosting issues. from the research I’ve done I believe its a hardware issue. if I’m correct you have 2 options.

Option 1: replace the unit

What I notice is the relative being off on the control axis…

That could cause something like this.

There’s other things to check.
