Make a single model, then they can literally paste it into almost every tech tree in this game.

Why did you add so many self-propelled artillery pieces that don’t fit the game’s ecosystem? And then copy and paste them into every country? If you want players to experience self-propelled artillery, shouldn’t you be adding a small number of pieces, like the Priest and Bishop, that fit the WWII game environment? Those copied and pasted M44, M55, and M109 should be removed from the tech tree. I don’t understand your reasoning for giving so many countries the same vehicles.

how does the Priest or bishop fit the game any better than the M44 or M55? if youre argument is that the priest and bishop are from WWII then do I have bad news for you, because there are a lot of vehicles in this game are not from WWII.

No one’s saying new vehicles can’t fill gaps in certain tech tree weights, but shouldn’t balancing be considered when adding them? The M44, M55, and M109 are practically copied and pasted onto most tech trees.

The Americans obtained the T90 a few years ago, so should the T90 be added to the American technology tree? Russia captured the Leopard 2A4 CV9040. okay now we’ve got horrific false equivalencies, the m44 being added to multiple tech trees of nations that all used it, many of which used it in combat, is not at all equivalent to america theoretically getting a captured T-90 that it has never used beyond testing and probably ripping apart
Personally, I do not think captured vehicles should be added to the game unless a modification was made to them, but no tech which has an m44 in game captured them, they were all obtained legitimately through standard means

Come on, Gaijin itself can put equipment that hasn’t appeared in the game into the tech tree. The person you’re talking about seems to be Gaijin itself. I didn’t expect someone to defend Gaijin’s irresponsible practice of copying and pasting vehicles
China does have the T-62 that’s still available for sale every so often and several Japanese planes still in the TT, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility

I read till this point, rest of the article is not worth reading. How sad that another cool vehicle is a premium… yes china lacks a premium… you know what china also lacks? An spaa between 6.3 and 8.0 as… well the spaa u implemented to fill that gap you moved up to 8.0
What hypocrisy “lack of premium option” oh as if you care if there is a gap or lack of something in a tech tree. Israel still has no spaa between 9.3 and 12.7
I should really uninstall this game. I hope “next update will be cool” and we get another cool thing as a premium. Wasn’t enough that the new ZTZ was a premium

A casemate 105mm might not get much mileage in game, especially considering the devs just dropped the casemate 155mm M44 down to 3.7.
AMX Mk 62 (turreted 105mm SPH), Lorraine 155 mle. 51 (casemate 155mm SPH), and Bat Chat 155 (turreted 155 mm SPH) might be better suited additions.

M7 Priest and Bishop are both fundamentally better suited to direct-fire engagements, which is 90% of the game, since that was a more important factor in their designs. They have some armor to speak of, a decent amount of on-board ammunition, and dedicated anti-tank rounds. They aren’t that far removed from normal howitzer tanks like the M4A3 (105).
The M55 on the other hand, needed a hefty artificial reload buff just to work in-game, and still ended up being kinda mid.
The M44 isn’t as egregious of an addition imo, but it needs to get access to later ammunition and be moved further from the low ranks.

I mean the Mk 62 is Swiss so it would have to go to the German tree

Given that the AMX-13 MK.62 was designed by France and produced by France, it stands to reason it should be a in the French tree at the bare minimum (Switzerland tested 4 units but never put them into full service).
CAID’s post on the vehicle references a 2 hulls and 2 turrets, so that may lead to differing in game variants, but I’ve not come across enough info on that specific topic yet.
In general this is a space where I’m concerned France shorted on, as Switzerland actually fielded and co-developed more French vehicles than they did with any other nation, and it would be very disappointing if France doesn’t get the 20 or so Franco-Swiss designs like the MK.62, Shark FL.20, Potez 632, Piranha 10x10 TML 105, etc
