also since RMAF is now part of Japan Air tree can we have the roundels not GE unlock and instead achievement based? plus the older squarel variations like the colored one and lowvis from MiG-29N
and 2 of the new decals are from Hawk 208, perhaps addition for next update?

How about replacing the monthly decals with a smaller number of monthly user skins? Because decals alone aren’t enough to replicate a scheme for an aircraft or tank.

great news. so many decals look crusty and ugly
are the nation flag decals going to be updated at some point?
they are pretty low resolution which is relatively ok for basic flags like the St George’s Cross or any generic tricolour but more complex flags such as sri lanka or equador look quite bad when any larger than a small icon thats pretty hard to see on something as large as a tank.
the flag of syria is also outdated now, they have a green stripe instead or red now, will there be an update to the decal for syrian players?

On topic of decals… when I play using relatively low resolution 1920 x 1080, all the decals have visible white square vignette. Is anyone else experiencing it too?

I know that is for Aircrafts that represent some countries air force like the Su30MK2, but it would be awesome to have more roundels on the game, it could be made Vehicle specific or what Aircraft that country operated, one great example would be the vast operators the F5A and F5E had like in my case the Honduras Air Force operated the SMBII, F86E and the F86K and its flagship being the F5e, i would geniunly kill for having the FAH roundel on the game and i know it could be easily done on the War Thunder delevoper kit as a kin but you know its always nice the delevopers had some eyes for small air forces from the world.
Meanwhile i have to slap my country flag as a roundel .
It would be nice even to have more latin american air forces represented in some ways.
You could also add decals from more countries around the world, not just the ones currently in the game, like Brazil, Chile, Argentina, etc. There’s a huge player base that doesn’t have a single in-game decal other than air force roundels.

honestly, i prefer the older looking scratched up look for decals, i don’t really like feeling like i am fighting in a fresh tank, the scored beat up look just feels way better

Okay but I gotta ask why Finland air? Half their unique vehicles that had decals are premium/event or just aren’t in the game.
Additionally how much censoring will the devs do to a lot of these decals. Like there’s a few neat one like a Buffalo with a panther holding a flag but it does have a hikaristi so would it get the Finnish air roundel from post war or would the devs add the other cross symbol which wasn’t nearly as prevalent as the standard roundel would be.

Instead of getting rid of them - can you just add the ‘cleaned up’ variants as alternatives? I go way back in this game - and honestly, I miss when you’d have things that look a little more beat up but as you got upgrades it’d look newer. Maybe even add a new category for ‘weathering’ in customization incase we maybe want to make our vehicles look a bit more war torn and used. Maybe even creates an option for Halloween to make things look more ghostly and like ‘zombie’ vehicles (applying weathering, battle damage, and effects/coloration over any other skin you use). But maybe I want my tank to look like it’s been on the road and all for a couple months without a fresh coat of paint and all, or like my plane has come off an airfield that’s been under fire for so long ain’t no one worried about painting and cleaning the thing just keeping it in the air to deal with planes.

Great update! be nice if each decal had a wear slider, but getting rid of the horrible scratching on loads of the old decals will be great regardless!
This already exists for ground vehicles in the customization menu. It would be neat to see for decals and other vehicles as well though :)
If you want to create a suggestion you can do that in the suggestion section here on the forum. That section is however pre-moderated and only posts that follow their rules and guidelines will get posted and it can take a couple of weeks for a post to get reviewed for publication. If it gets accepted and made public it then has a chance to get sent to the developers as a suggestion later on.

But not the proper red or black ADF version like the one that has been used since the Vietnam War period right up until today on Australian AFVs, helicopters and ships
