Work-In-Progress: AW159 Wildcat

early ranks aircraft probably but late ones would be it (or could slip in KAI KA-1 on low rank alongside), ground probably the same too, early rank CnP but later ranks would have bespoke local production vehicles

Because its not made in Italy, for the Italian military. Its made in the UK, for the British military. Turns out foriegn operators love it, such as South Korea and the Phillipines.

k1 will be the the only unique copy paste that south korea will have would really be nice if they make it an event vehicles and KF21 is SUPER new and very close to service looks like an f22 like all other 5th gen maybe C&P maybe not I hope not because I still think its cool

Will the MBDA Sea Venoms be added as well?

No, the Wildcat will not be getting any anti ship weaponry

Thanks for the info! Will this be updated in the future if we get other variants? Just for more weapon variety

Once we get to the stage where gaijin, permits helis to be used against ships in any capacity, most likely. But as of this upcoming update, sadly no.

So probably might take a while. Just as a heli enjoyer would be nice to see new types of weaponry.

if we were gonna get a premium flanker for the UK, itโ€™d be the Su-30K, which India got before the MKI was ready

f15EX dev work in progress next or f22??? or f16XL YOU HAVE OPTIONS GAIIJINNNNNN

Sea Venom has land-attack capability as well.
However itโ€™s IRL flight profile means itโ€™s just suited for attacking coastal targets on land, not flying significant distance to targets well above sea level

In what way? The same kinda guidance as the KH38MT and AASM where they lock onto buildings and stuff or actually track small moving targets?

because AW159 Wildcat is peak

Well, what helis would you give to those nations that would fix the lack of an AH-64E

The LMMs will likely be even worse than Spikes anyways

It has an imaging IR seeker and MITL, so it can lock and track just about anything.

As mentioned though, the problem is the flight path, it is a sea-skimming missile so wonโ€™t be able to cope with any kind of terrain at all.

โ€ฆbecause we can?
Britain is missile a wealth of helicopters it could get, and Wildcat is just one of those, and isnt just โ€œan apacheโ€

Sweden physically cannot get a new top tier heli, no nordic nation operates attack helicopters, and even AHS/Mi-28 were very large stretches to be added (Trials only)

Italy can get H145M through Hungary, but thats just worse than the AH-129D already in the tree
or AW249, which could apparently carry 16 spikes, but thats not in service

Germany can also get H145M, but thats worse than their eurocopter, and all they can currently get afaik

Because this is not a end of the line helicopter

Because copy paste is boring and a placeholder that does not stop domestic vehicle additions as gaijin have said often enough?
