I have tried that.
It works when you can get within IRST lock range. But that is a bit too close for the ranges i would want to throw them out at.
The more I play the MiG-25 in sim, the more I feel it really should be a 10.7

My friend has a 98% SS rating or something around that and hes never had 10 kills in a game before. So mans either god of WT or the jet might just be a little too strong
Honestly would of had to been a perfect storm.
Assuming he was not using r60s, he had to of rearmed 3 times while his team couldnt get more than 6 kills. Enemy would of been going at him one at a time or just ignoring him while having not a single one of them crash or leave the match.

Question is if bots was not counted there as well. I think that player and bot planes are not counted separately so we cant say how much of what was there.
I think I’m 1 over positive in it right now, if MTI mode was manual like it used to be it’d be sweet.

you can use IRST small scan and switch to radar lock quickly to help deal with the radar acting up when you need it at closer range
Yeah, I’m sure it will handle AIM-7Ps and R-27ERs just fine. 11.3 maybe, but decompression again is the only real answer

If it went to 11.7, the first thing i would do is go spam out the f14. The mig25 is about the best target the aim54 could ever hope to bully.
There are only 6 flying bots per battle, which are still hard to get them all. It is exactly as I sated, all were players. You can count team score, 10(me) + 4(team) + 2(crushed) = 16:

It would make the F-14A relevant again at least LOL. The IRIAF is the only one that really has a point anymore and that’s entire because of the Fakour-90 being cracked.
That’s what I learned pretty quick, but even then I was still having issues here and there. I couldn’t even lock A-10s with the irst surprisingly. I had to be almost touching them.
I’m actually 12 kills and 13 deaths in sim with it right now. So it’s a bit bad for sim maybe?
I think I may bring more radar guided AAMs over IR ones, because they act like big R-60s
F-104s are also pretty crap
well their engines dont run very hot and they dont generate much aerodynamic heat
Nah it’s actually because they make such an unbearable noise that the irst can’t focus

It will handle it better than flare-less, no RWR/ blind RWR does against it at present. Numerous jets suffer or mig25 does.
Being dunked by a missile you have no way of knowing its coming has already got old fast. Leave it for top tier
