Why was the F-15E/I nerfed after just one day?

2026- mig 15 and sabre 6.0 BR

F-16 and Su-27 8.0

I love playing minor nation! Love it!

You know they gonna make the same thread the same argument when that thing hit the live server right, the finest slop on the forum , is made from US player tears. But anyway , jet nerfed for balance reason , gaijin was right , thread no longer have a reason to be opened , might as well close

It was nerfed because it behaved more like a Saturn V than a normal plane lol.

Anyway everyone who can test flight the F-15E I is welcome to test speed themselves.
Just use the right load outs (one chart is 4 aim7 without CFT and another is with CFT only)
and after spawning in use local host commands to adjust mass (just input the mass displayed in the chart picture, you can also set altitude and high starting speed since climbing takes a while) http://localhost:8111/editor/fm_commands.html

On the top of the page you can switch to freedom units so you don’t even have to convert the stuff on the manual to SI units.

Vehicle gets tuned down to balance levels.
Mains started crying it’s not fair.

Some people unironically want their vehicles to be OP.

yup can’t even get over 62,000ft anymore gaijin nerf it so now it can’t even do what it was made to do. Dont know why the F-15s aren’t allowed to fly as high as they were able to fly. Even the F-15A was able to get to 100,000ft on its engines alone. https://youtu.be/8_f8MOXh7qw?t=864.

9 minutes of fuel, no CFT’s, and 8 120’s, at 10km. It will not break mach 2.26 AT ALL for me.

8 120s have more drag than 4 aim7s (especially considering that to carry 8 missiles you need the big pylons under the wings). Chart says that at 40000 feet (around 12000 meters) max speed is a little more than mach 2.2 with those 4 aim7s.

You are a at lower altitude and with more drag and still get that same speed, I don’t see an issue. If anything it might still overperforming a bit lol.

it is not over performing at all.

That’s not enough in their eyes. It needs to overperform more in order to be “balanced”.

Took people 2 years to realise that. Well like they say, better late than never.

sartt telling others to “cope” about US having better jets, while he himself had used to literally cry whole rivers about how the Leopard 2A7V is leagues superior to his Abroomz (the reason is justified tho, I don’t disagree, since 2A7V is “that guy”, but the differing reactions are just hillarious).

The irony, ah, it’s immeasurable.

Just tested it. F-15E, clean with 4 AIM-7, low fuel.
40’000FT
Time from mach 1.5 to mach 2: 50.16 seconds

Time in STD day on the manual chart, around 50 seconds, give or take a few seconds. (Mach 1.5 starts at ~80 seconds, hitting mach 2 at ~130 seconds)

Seems like Accel from mach 1.5 to 2 is right on the mark right now. Quite surprising and well done from Gaijin

Isn’t the F15EX a complete brick with full weapon load ? Granted that’s 12 freaking Aim120 + some Aim9X but still.

inb4 US main go “My 22-missiles load plane cannot reach mach 2.5 at sea level !!!”

Yeah they seem to have done a pretty good job this time!
A friend is doing some other tests and it seems that it’s still a little strong at the very top end, but it probably won’t matter a lot since getting to those speeds now should be really uncommon in game

Cool … anyways
I was correcting someone, not complaining.

Yep, seems very accurate to real life!
Just did a second test, this time from Mach 2 to Mach 2.2.
Same as before, 4 AIM-7, no CFT, 40’000ft, full burner

Took me 37.66 seconds to go from Mach 2 to 2.2

This is the chart in STD temperature, Mach 2 to 2.2:
mach2+
~130 seconds to ~170 seconds. So again, correct almost seconds for seconds. The few seconds gained on my side in game are probably due to my F-15 running on 3min of fuel left after previous test.

You can set fuel to not change in test flight to do more accurate tests… since you have the F-15E unlocked and can take off CFTs could you test sustained turn? Clean, 40000 pounds, sea level, just test time to do a 360 turn without changing speed and altitude (just pulling even with instructor on will do the trick for a quick test)

Tried one at sea level mach 0.8, 19min fuel, fully clean

Very rough result so take it as it is considering my pilot blacked out near the end with the amount of Gs pulled lol.

Took me ~20 seconds for a single turn, or about ~18° seconds. Again seems exactly right on the mark with the chart you posted. Impressive from Gaijin.

The crazy part is that the F-15E can pull 10-11G at sea level Mach 1 and stay supersonic infinitely while pulling that with the monster engine it has. o_o

The Mudhen ain’t gonna be pulling a cobra anytime soon but he sure can energy fight

as someone who has played every chinese top tier there is no bias unless you’re dogfighting in the j10. but that’s irrelevant in real matches

they removed the g limiter cause everyone cried about it. if you fly any su or mig they nerfed the hell out of both to shit because guess who was whining. american mains! also why they didn’t get the realistic loadout of r73
