French Rafale doesn’t only Indian Rafale. Besides the argument was “Su-27SM and Su-30SM get fictional extra mounts because it doesnt perform well enough” then surely that restrict the Rafale from getting it as the most OP jet in the game at the moment, and yet it got that buff. So clearly performance has no bearing on such loadout options.
And there are sources direct from the manufactoer and pilot testimony, but neither is good enough for Gaijin unfortunately.
Anyway. My main focus for the Typhoon is
- Buff the FM
- Fix the CMs
- Replace its placeholder A2G loadout
- Add HOBS missiles
- Fix or replace the Radar
- Fix the IRST
- Fix the cockpit

Tbh, the rafale got a lot of unnecessary buffs
That doesn’t really stop gaijin, for example there are a bunch of gripen versions in game that shouldn’t have some armaments that have currently (iirc irl sweden for example didn’t have AGM65Gs,) but that hasn’t stopped gaijin from giving those weapons to them because reasons.
To be honest, gaijin’s lack of consistency is what makes this system so problematic.
Gaijin can give a weapon to a vehicle that never had it, then deny the weapons to a vehicle with large amount of proof about it’s existence and compatability for whatever reason

This is always the issue I have with it.
For example, all attempts to argue for Napalm on the British Phantoms has failed because “Britain never operated napalm on that airframe” except its still a Phantom and should fall within that category. Loads of examples of it being a cherry picked tool and not a universal one (even on the Typhoons it really annoys me that they actually went out of their way to make the British one slightly worse by giving us a different 1000lb GBU that didnt have GPS, even though if they wanted it to be unique, they could have given us the ePaveway II that is in the files and missing for multiple aircraft)
Yep, what is really maddening to me is when the vehicle really clearly needs it but it still gets denied.
Like for example the F4J(UK) is weaker in multiple respects to the US version… but nope, 0 buffs or even a lower BR and dont even get me started on the Tornado GR1’s engines.
thats a myth about the indian rafale, french rafale got tested with 8 missiles also, and if eurofighter needs so much things go ahead and report them and if its accepted then discuss it here and tag mods so they can do something about it
Got tested for the Indian Rafale. Was never in service with the F3 with France.
All of what I discussed wanting buffed was reported and accepted 8 months ago, but Gaijin refuses to fix the Typhoon, It took 8 months just to get a mostly working radar, let alone full strength CAPTOR-M. Though hopefully we’ll get CAPTOR-E soon based upon the CM blog
That picture literally shows an F.4.1, what we’ve in-game is a F.3R, which only had six MICA capable pylons.

The picture I just sent is of a French Rafale, well, if Gaijin treats the Typhoon the same way as 99% of the planes in the game, there is nothing we can do about it at this point
How are we sure thats a f4.1, i always saw people saying that, but we literally have no proof about it, also f4 didnt bring any pylons or restructure modifications to make it different from f3r, meaning they both should be able to carry the same?
Apparently from what I can remember its possible to fit them on all the pylons, they just don’t
Yep, that is my take away too. If we ever see an EFT deploy in a Air superiority role then that might change. Especially with the intro of CAPTOR-E

I have plenty images of French rafales carrying micas on these spots you claim only Indian ones can, some from the Dassault website. Unless that was added after the F.3R (which I have never seen mentioned anywhere) then it can in fact carry 8 missiles.
Simply the French never needed a 8 missile configuration, but they did put the missiles on all 8 pylons although never at the same time
Is it bad to be hoping for a full on air dominance war to start over Eastern Europe? Would’ve cool to see typhoons lined up at Amari with 10 AMRAAMs and 2 ASRAAMs should they ever go down that route

That’s very likely indeed, but I don’t remember seeing any mention of that capability being added at any point on the descriptives of Rafale standards I read.
At what standard do you think they integrated the Micas on more pylons?
