so it would have around 10kg he?
damn dude the current 65D cant even kill with 50kg properly how would the 10kg be
The issue is centre mass attacks.
With the “recently” (firebirds) added code for how FnF weapons target naval targets. Im hoping we might see improvements on missiles targeting ground targets.
I cant speak for JAGM, but Brimstone should go for weakspots
JAGM also benefits from having like 1200mm pen like the hellfire and is tandem, where a lot of times AGM-65s just straight up do not pen.
Probably limiting specific loadouts only for AIR RB EC and similar operations like the SEAD event. But i can see gaijin making an F-15E with 28 JAGMs to cost the same as a nuke. That would not be optimal but just saying.
hmm i c
but its fnf right?
Exponential SP costs is how Id do.
So 28 JAGM probably would end up costing equal to or maybe even more than a nuke. But the point is than 8 wouldnt cost any more than 6 AGM-65s do now, and if you have spare SP, then you could take more and if not, you can just fill those slots with something else instead, like GBU-39s.
But importantly, you can run 28 JAGM in ARB or ASB without a care in the world.
As of 2022 no fixed wing tests were conducted.

Oddly enough apparently separation testing was done for it back in 2010. (Probably inside a wind tunnel)
I found this on wiki so not 100% reliable but it’s something: The Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM) is designed to replace existing missiles like the Hellfire and Maverick.JAGM does not have a single, specified top speed, but it incorporates capabilities from its predecessors, including the Hellfire’s Mach 1.3 (995 mph; 1,601 km/h) speed.
At this point anything is better than agm-65s so I wouldn’t mind Mach 1.3
Yes if its fnf which JAGM-MR is and has IR seeker
Depends if they will be fire and forget or not. Like Brimstones, Gaijin might only add them with SALH guidance.
Also I guess to show the expected speed of the JAGM-F (by using Brimstone) vs AGM-65D, I did a couple of test fires to see, because I didn’t think it would be that much better anyway:
Spoiler
Tests were all done at roughly Mach 1-1.1 speed range at 1, 3 and 5km altitude.
Brimstone:
1km: 12.1km in 40.1s = 302 m/s average, topspeed ~M1.8
3km: 14.6km in 47.1s = 310 m/s average, topspeed ~M1.9
5km: 12.9km in 34.1s = 378 m/s average, topspeed ~M2.1
AGM-65D Maverick:
1km: 11.6km in 48.1s = 241 m/s average, topspeed ~M1.3 (aimed for ~12km range, but couldn’t reach)
3km: 14.8km in 58.2s = 254 m/s average, topspeed ~M1.4
5km: 12.6km in 37.8s = 333 m/s average, topspeed ~M1.5
So while JAGM-F would probably be a decent bit faster, if it was implemented like Brimstone (likely anyway), all this time is spent lasing (well the last 10s at least). And from high altitude launches, Maverick speed isn’t much worse.
Well right now the Maverick are underperforming in flight preformance.
JAGM-F achieve a max speed of approximately mach 1.5, the specific burn time are not disclosed but generally would be around 3-5 seconds. It has a range of approximately 28km, lock range is unknown. It has NIR (Near-Infrared) and SAL as well as MWR radar
The warhead is a tandem charge shape, it has a TNT equivalent is around 9.9-10.3kg, which mean that it is a way better Hellfire
The unknown though is how much of that comes from just being dropped from high and fast compared to the Hellfire being mostly a static launch from relatively low down.
Mach 1.5 max speed is static speed, it likely has a higher or similar burn time than hellfire given the size
Is the JAGM-F using the JAGM-MR motor?
i dont think so
Yet it was canceled but we have a non existent kh-38mt in game
I think the starting point should be AGM-84E for the US.
Still no where near as good as KH-38MT, but its a good choice over the AGM-65.
After that, add better methods of Quantity mtiigation and then add GPS+SAL GBU-53 and Spear-3s.
