Why is SU-25SM3 12.3 in AIR RB? Is it truly equal to F-14A?

Yup. I’m about done spending money on this game. The things I paid for are increasingly less balanced, and receive far less attention. Every change log makes this more clear.

I’m also tired of coming on this forum and being shit on for wanting the nations I enjoy playing getting the same benefits as others enjoy and being told it’s what is deserved. Tired of intellectually dishonest arguments and politics/xenophobic bias playing into the arguments made against certain nations. It’s a game, I don’t care about that.

Integral to gameplay should be balance. But for some players, that’s clearly not the goal.

That’s not what I was saying. My money doesn’t decide anything alone. And I’m not talking about premiums or any bias related to them.

Because A-10 is much slower, while also being less maneuverable, at high speeds at least, at low speeds it might be better but low speed maneuverability is useless in Air RB.

As already explained, I was talking about the F-14 being super sonic not the Su-25 :)

Although… A super sonic su-25/a-10 would be cool AF… XD

The A-10 shouldn’t be able to slave 9Ms with the HMD if it still is gaijin didn’t fix it. Kinda like how they didn’t fix the AGM-65s (This update was released way to early.)

As for the SU I would think 11.7 be a better spot for it.

So gaijin just copied it from F-16C?

Exists in Ace Combat and Project Wingman :)

OOOOO GOODIE!

Always have wanted to try ace combat… Now I have another reason ;)

If anything id call the SU25T better for AirRB.
You get 16 Vikhr ATGMs which you can use to force people into your guns in headons.

They both use the exact same HMD just the A-10C doesn’t give the HMD the ability to slave the A-A missile seekers.

It was really lazily implemented. Bug report was submitted to fix it. Along with increasing the range of the AGM-65L. Both were acknowledged but looking at what came to the game devs didn’t do anything about them.

We should have had another week of development before this launch.

you are right striker with busted missiles should be way lower in air rb even if that meant to fight so for a10c it might need to drop in br like 11.0 or something along said the su25sm like a lot of people would say it shouldn’t fight flarless plane and right but remember no 11.0 plane lack flares now we go for no legal to the Exception the f4c yeah this plane shouldn’t be 10.0 if you ask me but Anway a lot of planes can go mach1 and above and for you to get murdered by irccm missile or and from any missile from these flying tanks you would need to be ether be greedy as hell or unaware you only need to keep 2km and hight speed to beat them

So basically nothing changed since 1st day of dev server.

Yeah pretty much. I think the J10a is faster then it was in dev. It’s keeping up with F-16s even though Gaijin said they weren’t changing the FM cause of evidence caping it at 1450. But other than that seems the same.

Speed doesn’t really matter in GRB. In fact subsonic jets are better in a CAS sole, since their flight model is just more suited to engage ground targets. A Su-25 will always be better than e.g. a Tornado, which is a brick which makes it hard to line up bomb runs and to bank away from SPAA fire.

Dodging SPAA is way easier when you’re faster.

Su-25 shows that speed is less important. Having alot guided ordnance, tp and good flight model is key. Su-25 is the perfect CAS plane. Also very easy to fly super low with this one. Try this in a Tornado and you ram into a tree in no time, cause its just not responsive. Su-25 derivatives are the only CAS jets which regularly score good kills in GRB, even with dumb bombs and rockets (cause they can fly so damn low). All others somehow fail.

Also one patch ago bombs got a speed limit. You can’t release any bomb while going more than 1000km/h. So that defeats the purpose. Fast bomb passes are not possible anymore. You can ofc AB over the battlefield with 1400 km/h…but for what ? :) Bombs are locked on the pylons for whatever reason.
