The statement is about what’s to be exited for not what’s actually coming any time soon

We just need 120s and (if I recall correctly) 9Ms to be fixed so they become remotely competitive against R-77-1s, R-73s, Magic 2s, MICAS and allies.

that would help a lot but the devs seem to be ignoring everyone’s complaints about the aim120 so i wouldn’t expect them to do any fixing any time soon

These have to be one of the most famous last words on the WT forum/subreddit by now.

Basically. It’s always the same story;

1- Dev server is released
2- Dev server feedback section is opened
3- Users provide feedback about the Dev server in the Dev server feedback section
4- “Shut up, this is just Dev server”

Yes… that’s what… the Dev Server feedback section is for…

Even more funny when 80% of the times the things people said “shut up” for don’t actually change on Live lmao

this is the place to give feedback on issues. such as armour holes, incorrect values and how to improve modelling accuracy

I found the SMT to be a strange addition because it was barely produced, its pilots hated it, and it was mainly used as a strike aircraft because of its poor flight performance.

“It’s the dev server, it will be changed before or when the update goes live.”

A tale as old as time.

they also have LOAL capabilities. Meaning you can lob a huge volley rapidly behind cover at a GPS coord and then pop-up and laze before the TTT expires. versus having to wait for all 6 or whatever IR seekers on the Mav to track.

Again, just like brimstones.

But that needs immense skill and is realy exhausting believe me.
Ir fnf is way easier

the flight model on the thing I get is being developed still but I’m confused how they managed to make even the dev one so odd, the thing lists heavily with the slight use of its yaw controls and heavily leans to the right when in higher altitudes or faster speeds.

yeah if you’re above ~0.8 mach anytime you move the mouse to the left or right to turn horizontally when in level flight, the instructor puts the plane in a -G push over

I just want the SHornet to stop rolling away from small yaws and actively fighting against being wing-level. Having your plane respond to a small mouse movement by rolling away from the movement and throwing negative G forces at the pilot is very irritating. A snap yaw turn almost always reds out the pilot unless you’re actively controlling roll before the manuver.

lets hope they can at least fix that

they probably will since the FM is massively overperforming anyways so they tweak it with that before release.

“Massively overperforming”

Its only overperforming by about a degree per second sustained, but is underperforming in instantaneous pull by about 2.5 degrees per second.

Thats not massive “overperformance” at all, same deal with it’s engines, its underperforming by about 1000kgf per engine under 0.8 mach and overperforming by about 500kg total above.

If anything the E is underperforming by quite a bit, even moreso given the fact that the aircraft just drifts all over the place as stated above like others.
