Why does the SU22M3 have 6 R60MK at 11.0?

To be fair, su 17s/22s are also stuck because of br compression. Thing’s not great, but plenty good enough to butcher a downtier were it any lower.

Same reasons with MiG 21BiS being 11.0 and MiG 23M/MF being 11.0 .
Ok MiG 23M/MF don’t have many CMs though, they are in weird position.
But overall , i don’t see Su-17M4 and Su-22s being better in air to air than MiG 21BiS with the same armament.

the standard M3s (syrian and hungarian) have 12 but also have a better engine (like 10% better or something) than the M4s

In static runway thrust. But the R-29BS-300 in the Su-22M3’s is the downrated export engine alternative to the Su-17M4’s AL-21F-3.

So I’d expect the AL-21F-3 has better thrust curves at higher speeds and altitudes. Have to check the datamines.
