Why Does Gaijin HATE Australia

its called the ADF Australian defence force and both there air naval have royal in it

It follows Britains naming Scheme. We have Royal Navy and Royal Air force. but not Royal British Army, Australia just followed the same pattern

Australian defense force, not royal Australian defense force

Royal Australian airforce, royal Australian navy, royal Australian tank regiment and many more…

This is so ignorant. The army doesn’t get the Royal title in the UK either, the regiments do

Then Britain doesn’t need their export vehicles either. No Vickers, no Khalid, no Chally 2E. Do you want that?

That never got exported no one bought it

That’s pretty neat and I’m down for CF-188s because unlike the suggestion of this thread, it’s not trying to steal an exported American vehicle used previously by America and make it UK exclusive.

What’s being stolen?

m1 AIM which is in the usa tech tree

The m1 aim the Australians used was never used in its configuration by the Americans. It was modified by our request and when it got here was modified further. It is very much unique to the Royal Australian Amoures Corps.

Why would you get the F18, an American jet?

I wouldn’t call taking out some DU slabs a deep modification. Not that it really matters, the Abrams is an American tank and ought to stay that way. Unless you have some other suggestion, it is unfair to steal another nation’s only proper squadron tank just so your nation can have two on top of the most TT 11.3/11.7 tanks of any tree.

I’ve seen multiple people mention vehicles never used by the British, like the F18, F16, F16, F111.

The Leopard 2AV was built for US trials, to US specs and still went to the German tree. The AIM is an American tank, in the American tree. Unless Australia and Canada are made sub trees, their vehicles go to the nation that built them.

Might as well prepare for the CF18 going to the US tree now.

I’m seeing a lot of people saying that Australians can’t have all their tech in that same place. And that’s just rude.

This is a thread about Australians for Australians.

And as I a Canadian I feel them my stuff is split between 5 trees and only one vehicle I can make a line up with what it served with.

You didn’t use the Aussie abrams in its Australian configuration.

Lol you don’t consider removing a large portion of its armour configuration and replacing it with an Australian replacement a modification?

When it got here the engine was modified because the engine ran too hot and was prone to setting fires both on the tank and in the Aussie bush. These modifications made the engine cooler to operate and reduced its thermal signature. The crew compartment also got to hot in the Australian heat so the cooling system was upgraded again this reduced the tanks thermal signature as a side effect. Saab Australia then modified the vehicle to develop a system to reduce the thermal detection of the tank, they may have also been the company that was responsible for the other mentioned upgrades but don’t recall. It then had some operation equipment installed like infantry phone and other upgrades budgeted for but not listed in the public report. It then had it situational awareness systems improved during service as well as communications equipment. All upgrades not used by the Americans on this tank, only Australia.

Aka it won’t be added. The US shouldn’t even have the Ram. The US it the first place should have as much clam to Canada as Japan has for Korea, none.
