With modern ISR, nothing survives without a lot of careful attention. Tanks are basically only fire support at this point.
We also saw they got destroyed by tank rounds as well.
So these so called “they were export models” excuses are simply not revelant anymore.

3BM60 is equivalent to KE-W, the Tungsten version of M829A1.
BVM is a T-90B turret from 10.3 with half the turret front covered in ERA, and hull upgraded to withstand M829A2 & DM53.
T-80BVM wasn’t designed as a new tank that could face M1A2 SEP3, it was designed as a life extension program.
T-90M & T-14 are the heavy hitters. Russia’s equivalent to SEP2 & SEP3.

Hell, Gaijin never added anti Kontakt-5 features to the shells that should have them like DM53, L27A1 or the Israeli M338.

Weird since much of my knowledge also comes from other experts, including rather skilled CCs such as Defyn, Jaek, Tim, Oddbawz, and so forth.
