Why Canada Should Be a U.S. Sub-tree in War Thunder

Looked into it, it’s the same factory too lol (FMC made them in California first but moved production to Pennsylvania, all this is before BAE bought them)

War Thunder is a game of operators, not manufacturers, because arguing over who owns or produces what projects is always going to be a continuous thing because joint projects/buyouts are constantly happening. I mean look at the arguments in here already, one nations owns a technology, but it is made in another.

So It becomes far easier and cleaner to go X nation uses Tank/Plane/Ship Y and then put all of X nations stuff together to create a tree or subtree. Not to mention people like using lineups of the same nation. So splitting Can/Aus (applies to both really) with who made what instead of who’s using what is silly, as it just creates arguments like this one.

Ok so, america made the M1A2 SEP v3 for Australia so it should go to the U.S

LAVS are still built in Canada

And so does Can/Aus/NZ, who I want to see added as a sub for the UK, which then leads to them being the UK tree.

Assembled, not built. all parts are made in the U.S

That would mean that we buy every parts for our LAV? Naaaaaaa

We build them A to Z

I can’t speak for you, but I would rather fight with a complete vehicle rather than just chucking piston rings at the enemy.

just hold the bushmaster 25mm in one hand and the m240 in the other

i mean they use Caterpillar or Detriot Diesel engines, with Bushmaster chain guns, and the Delco turret at least on the LAV-25 (pretty sure the LAV 2 and 3 have it too, or atleast another Delco turret), and an Allison transmission. the whole powertrain is American, the armament is American, and the armor steel for the LAV-25 at least is supplied by Lukens Steel, an American steel mill. All 3 main aspects of the vehicle are American.

i wouldnt call that Canadian built from A to Z

more detailed description of all the parts. optics are american too

The entire vehicle is american parts so…

Because it is not just about Canada going into America, it’s also about the vehicles that people want to see added to the game, and where they may go

“People want to see them in their trees”
