This is my argument behind we will eventually need it. At some point, only thing they’ll have left to do short of making more stuff up is properly model weaponry. At which point CAS will be scarier, and we’ll need more reliable kit.
Yep, I agree. Not against SPAA getting buffed, but so should CAS.
Looking at say 10.3 with the Stormer HVM getting ACLOS. Then Id say the main addition to buff CAS would be CBUs
CBUs need to be added so we can be accurate to the mig eater livery. Somewhat irrelevant to the discussion, but this is my personal crusade.
We have this:
But we can’t eat migs.
I’ll join you for that
Pantsir already has it btw
With so many caveats to its use that unless you sacrificed half a dozen goats, it’s better of forgetting it exists 😿
How it is implementation is one thing.
Being implemented at all is another.
Gaijin should know it acts like SARH and give it to all relevant SPAA immediately
Manually guided makes them more lethal and easier to use.*
Artificial buff to them.
pantsir
Override to fling missiles at things with radar off, automatic the rest of the time would be great
Okay, non-soviet nations, especially on lower BR SAMs like the Rapier and Stormer, won’t get ACLOS.
We’ll have to wait and see if something like the Skysabre gets ACLOS
Good luck getting ACLOS on the Rapier.
Yeah…
Not like you would need it if it was modeled correctly
Probably not, but still wouldnt hurt.
Either way, wont get buffed now it went down in BR
you can do this tho
That’s been informally suggested multiple times from what I remember.
I don’t remember any response from Gaijin for those suggestions though.
Worth a formal suggestion post to have them at least consider it for 30 seconds before moving on to something else.
A lead indicator that slowly moves closer and closer to the locked target based off of radar data would actually be pretty helpful to waste less missile energy.
huh?
fr?
i was sure u cant since ground radars dont need to have the PD that makes them ignore targets going perpendicular
Yep, they also introduced a feature where if something is very close or above you it breaks the lock, cuz why not? They said it was causing some issues.
