Which new BB will you research first?

Pr.23 or Yamato, they will be the most powerful ship during next update.

Roma, what a beauty

I am Japanese, so naturally I choose my wife’s Yamato.
And I am also ready to fire the 46cm Golden Eagles Guns.

Logically I’m closest to the Vanguard class Battleship HMS Vanguard (1946), the Bismarck class Battleship Bismarck (1939), Richelieu class Battleship Richelieu & Project 23 Battleship Sovetsky Soyuz. Yet being me I’ll probably end up researching the Littorio class Battleship Roma (1940) first which is well further away than any of these & more so than the USN & IJN TT’s.

Depending on if a large ocean going bluewater warships is added to the Coastal TT this update, I may go for it first an come out full of rage as usual & rage grind the new battleships through spite.

None.

If they fix NAB aiming, then probably the Bismarck, since Germany is the only bluewater fleet I have top tier BBs on currently.

If I could choose though, Iowa or Roma.

  1. Richelieu for patriotic reason
  2. Bismark because of the song madde by Sabaton.

Technically none since the new rank means I have to research more battleships in order to get any of them (yay… I’m so glad they insist on adding new ranks instead of just expanding the ones we already have)
But, Richelieu is what I’d probably get first. Mainly because she’s the only one I can reasonably get before the next patch comes out.

Roma, shoutout to the Italian navy.

Yamato cause I dont have the others nor I want them xD

Roma, it needs my moral support.

Bismarck. The legendary ship I was waiting for. Unfortnately its release is overshadowed by Yamato and Soyuz. Its not even top BR on test server and declassed from the start. Wished they would have introduced her earlier, so there would have been some months of fame and duels with HMS Hood.

Second will be Yamato, but slowly.

Vanguard, not only is it the only tree i have grinded but I have a (minor) personal connection with the ship.

Besides. She also looks the best

That’s debatable. Scharnhorst is a hot looking lady. Sleek bow, good looking superstructure. Elegant lines.

If I was anywhere close to it, The Yamato

Peak beauty and even stronger batteries, all encapsulated into 12% of the island’s natural resources [Citation Needed], one of the strongest ships to ever sail, though its star left the sky before it could truly prove itself, much like any of the major Axis Battleships (Bismarck only ever saw one operation before sinking, Tirpitz only fired its main battery once, Yamato never saw a true combat operation until Midway, where it was lost, and so on)

That being said though, Bismarck / Tirpitz would be my second pick, which I hope if/when they add the latter they add her in her final refit before she sunk

(Speaking of, I really hope some players make conematics of their ends, I’d love to see a WT recreation of the Bismarck’s first and last operation, though we don’t have Swedish naval forces so it wouldn’t be able to encapsulate the full story, nor do we have the Prince of Wales)

Unfortunatly i have to disagree with you, Richelieu looks the best.

Well I have to change my word. They buffed Dunkerque/Richelieu into unrealistic level and now they are quite good.

Sovietsky Soyuz first, since it’s the only tree i have completed at this point ( still haven’t crewed Novorossiysk or Arkhaengelsk), then
Roma because its by far the best looking one ( still 3 ships left to research) and cant decide for Japan or France next yet.

Iowa as the US is the only naval tree I’ve worked on. After that, will likely go Bismarck as that was my childhood dream ship

Not sure if this has been answered, but has there been any mention about putting limits on what aircraft you can bring in? With some of the new BB’s being at 8.7 won’t that put them in line with some pretty high tier jets? Main concern is the F-117 at 8.7.

Yes, they’re finally doing some decompression and changing air BRs for naval.
