They don’t care about those of us who play Israel. i report many things about this (bug, information not accurate, etc.) and all i get back is nothing event i found the picture of F-15C Bas M that use aim-120B not A and still they give us AIM-120A. that’s why I’m give up for this BS because they dont even care us who is mainly playing Israel.
FnFs irl: A threat to anything it can see
FnFs in War Thunder: “Hit…maybe”
If we show gaijin that enough players care then they will probably listen to us. Second sending an image my not be a way gaijin accepts reports about bugs and missing stuff.
In this photo where an RPG hit the top side of the turret armour module the outer plates seem to have bent upwards in a way that would suggest some ERA, at least to me
too ambiguous to make a fair deduction imo
You see those bolts? That’s a clear sign of Explosives within armor.
Tbf, I see a Trophy APS system on this tank, if I’m not mistaken. It could have likely mitigated the effect of this projectile before impact. Something to consider.
If the APS intercepted the projectile, it would have probably detonated it before it could even dent the tank. I’m gonna presume this projectile was launched at such a short distance that Trophy couldn’t intercept in time. Though I could see a tandem projectile doing a little more then a dent if intercepted, I don’t think it would do that much damage though.
Trophy could have also been off depending on when this image was taken.
And trophy could have diminished it. If we assume the projectile was a tandem missile, Trophy may not have stopped it outright. As Freezer said, it could have even been launched too close for the system to react.
The only reason that the trophy would be off is if the tank wasn’t on and driving. So unless the image was taken in October 7 in which some merkavas where damage while they were parked there is probably a different reason that the projectile hit
Not exactly, but if it’s going to always be active in combat, then it will be on. As an example, many of the Merkava tanks we know were disabled during October were taken out because Trophy was off to save power.
I know some reasons as for why their trophy was off:
- No TC thought there was an AT threat because they were so surprised and a lot of confusion was on the comms so nobody knew what was happening.
- The trophy radar emits (ik, obviously) radiation which can get Infantry sick and give them cancer.
- some just dont work, i can tell you my tank’s trophy system only worked half the time. these things require a ton of maintenence
but saving power? nah thats like saying you dont turn on the car radio to save power xD
theres an alternator ;)
Gotcha. I was informed they sucked a LOT of power, and it was to save energy.
Though that could still be one of the reasons as well.

Only half of the time? Rafael claims that it has a 90% kill probability
Rafael trophy aps
Also if the trophy aps can cause cancer then I’m pretty sure the idf wouldn’t use it especially after what happened in נחל קישון where over 500 military divers got cancer and about 100 of them died
It does! By work, i mean the ability to turn on the system at all, lots of issues on that area. when the system does turn on, it works most of the time :)
everything causes cancer, inside the tank, outside, antennas around you cause cancer. Why not mitigate the damage? its not as harmful as Nahal Kishon was.
Please use this to make a bug report, this is very convincing evidence.
man not to insult you but your comment about anthenas causing cancer sounded like AI generated comment of a crystal mom
By that logic half of the idf would have had cancer because that everyone uses a radio and similar tech.
Even if Stuff emit radiation it’s the same radiation as your phone which has been proven multiple times to not cause cancer
To be honest, if scientists are to be believed, most things cause cancer cause we don’t understand it that well.
yeah but low frequency radio signal aint gonna cause cancer to nobody not even 5G signals
