Clean maybe sure, add fuel and those 16 missiles and be lucky to hit Mach 1.5.
Of course Gaijin do not model parasitic drag of suspended armaments (why should carrying enough missile for an average squadron have any draw backs!) So yeah it will probably rip to Mach 2.5
The current F-15E already outclimbs and out accelerates Typhoon why let realism get in the way of the game.
US mains are going to be really disappointed by how small a jump in Performance the F-22 is.
Not in combat load though, F-15s performance figures come from clean airframes it is how the US and Russia test their aircraft.
Aircraft in War thunder should have payload performance limitations added but they wont because Russia also likes to stick 14 missiles on a Su-35/30 and the game doesnt want to degrade their performance in anyway.
No combat loaded F-15 is doing Mach 2.5 and that includes at 65-70kft.
I dont dispute that, Typhoons realistic envelope is just under mach 2.0 which it has achieved when carrying a standard A2A armament.
My issue is ass I said in game there is no degradation of performance, being it turn rate or top speed whether an aircraft carries 4 missiles or 14 missiles.
Gaijin will bury the Rafale and Typhoon when they release the F-15EX and Su-35S/SM whichever variants they go for.
Typhoons flight model is a mess which you would know if you flew one.
The missiles it carries are the worst in game (at top tier) 120C and 9Ms
F-15E and GE and the F-15 Genocide all have 120D which is a far better missile for the style of play the Eurofighter wants.
F-15 out BVRs the Typhoon, Rafale kills in short to medium range and Su-30SM2 kills it at every range.
Maybe one day Gaijin will add the IIR missiles and give Typhoon a chance…or maybe even buff BOL
You whine about it now but when F-22’s can take 6 AIM-120D and 2 9X internal and you can only take 4 meteor without completely tanking your high speed performance, I bet you will have a change of heart
