Great assumption considering the fact that the F22 has legit never done anything other than kill a balloon it’s entire lifetime, the US has been lying through its teeth since the dawn of it’s existence. It’s capabilities are probably just another lie.

Imagine they have to admit the F22 isnt as great as they always told the whole world.

They were involved in Syria for sure. It’s just they haven’t gotten into a dogfight.
However, given that they use them in military exersises regularly … they know what the plane is capable of.
They wouldn’t keep updating it and keep it in service , with such a big cost , for 20 years if it was ineffective .In fact , its capabilities were -on purpose- de rated until very recently. So they did with F-35.
For example, the lie about its top speed…supposedly the F-22 and F-35 have very low top speed for their engines/aerodynamics… that’s because after a point it doesn’t go well for their stealth. They can go a lot faster if they want to.
If it was bad, or not capable it would have been replaced. Su-57 can be a threat , since it got used in Ukraine and they closely monitor the war they know it, that’s why they go for gen 6.
However, in reality -now - , there are too few Su-57 to be a threat for how many F-22s and F-35s.
Also, in the game, i don’t think they will go above gen 4,5. Even gen 4s after a point are based on wikiguesses . They know what they advertise them to be. For gen 5s , since they go/try for realism… they shouldn’t bring them . Even to avoid leaks.

There are so many examples in the aviation…
All of them keep updating their good platforms because it’s way less expensive than building a new type from scratch , with all the teething problems etc. But it has to be a good platform.

thing is id take 10 su57 over 1 f22 anyday, even 2 su57 over 1 f22 anyday
when it comes to 1v1 things become skeptical mainly because most of the stuff for su57 is currently in testing, not to mention we barely know what the final configuration of su57 is.
