I’m sorry if US propaganda has gotten into your heads about a tank that is quite subpar to the Leopard 2, and one that had its development stunted because the country spent decades using it to try root out insurgents, rather than to face off against the weapons it has to face at top-tier (In WT, Abrams has to face off against CAS elements that can take it out from many KM away - not a problem seen in Desert Storm/Iraqi freedom, while also facing opposition tanks who have access to much more modern rounds with penetration values which can and will dispatch of the Abrams - not to mention the abundance of other weapons available to other sides that can melt you). Having a high kill ratio against some Iraqi’s who could hardly find the reverse gear in their tank and were often firing obsolete projectiles at targets they probably had no hope of seeing most of the time, due to their lack of support, adds nothing to your arguments to buff the Abrams. It’s just being petty, like how I mentioned Ukraine (where most vehicles are simply taken out by drones and artillery - and Abrams/Chally were quite unsuited for the terrain and operated in outdated assaults which had no hope of succeeding).
what does that matter? there are problems with many tanks at top tier including eastern designs like ztz99a not having enough turret face armor. issues should be fixed wherever possible and a lot of these bug reports have been accepted.

Drone warfare changed everything. The costs of a tank loss is not worth it. Both Abrams and T-series are obsolete with the Russian/Ukrainian war. Abrams/Challenger/Leopards are useless with the terrain in Ukraine. I think this is the end of tank on tank combat imo.

The desert storm comment was in response to a post that was removed saying the Abrams is bad or whatever. I said that because the actual history of the Abrams says otherwise.

To main op questions . Gaijin are alway being inconsistent when it come to bug report. As some issue get fix within month some issue took years.

In the future Tank would have to roll out with it own Anti drone weapon (proximity fuse round on 30mm cannon like the one on Abrams X for example) and with hard kill APS as a standard kit.
For the time being they would have to work close with SHORAD units.
I don’t think it’s inflated but I do think it’s more along the lines of usage. Every tank is destructible, but depending on the usage the tank becomes harder or easier to kill. Warthunder is brutal on the abrams because it doesn’t allow the Abrams to function how they do/did in real life. While the armor is most likely inaccurate on the abrams in game, it would probably perform just as poorly as it does now due to the lack of tactics/strategies that are used in real life with it.
